Located in Rapid River in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan. High speed fiber internet. Located near snowmobile/ ATV trail. Parking lot large enough for several trucks and trailers. Large 4 bedroom and 3.5 bath rustic log home with plenty of room. Custom made rustic log beds. Sizes include 2 Kings, 2 queens and 2 full size beds. Two custom tile showers and a large bathtub with jets. As well as a half bath. Beautiful lawn with fire pit seating. Board walk from home to gazebo, overlooking pond. The house was spacious and the living and dining areas accommodated our large group well. The kitchen was well equipped and it was great to have some toys and games for the kids to play with. The outdoor areas were well maintained, but unfortunately the highway noise takes away from the serenity. It's a good location to explore central UP. I would suggest bringing extra kitchen towels and paper products as no extras were supplied. Also note that the upstairs bathroom does not have a stand up shower, so you have to use other's en suites for that. Upstairs bedrooms have skylights, so it's very bright in the mornings.

Amazing place! This place was great! Perfect location for exploring and family time! The hosts were quick with responses. We were able to grill use the yard for some softball and corn hole games! Highly recommend staying here!

Christmas in Delta County We have family between Escanaba and Gladstone and this location, size of the home and the comfortable amenities were perfect for our family Christmas. We took walks at the Days River path trail, along the water in Gladstone, looked up at the starry night in Rapid River and enjoyed the cozy comfort of the lodge.

Property as described. Happy with the accommodations, and none of my friends had complaints either. Lots of space to spread out if desired.Host was responsive and the check-in and check-out requirements were simple. None of the excessive check-out cleaning nonsense that rental properties have become infamous for.

Rustic Lodge in Rapid River This was a very beautiful place to spend the week and I'm glad we found it! The owners were very accomodating. The property was family oriented, and spacious. The entire family enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful log cabin!!!!! The cabin met our expectations and more! So much history about the builders of tue cabin inside is truly is a gem! Extremely cozy and comfortable for our group!

Tall tails on the trails ! We were a group of 8 enjoying our 5th year of orving in northern Michigan . Your log cabin was almost perfect for our accommodations . The beds , sheets , blankets even throw blankets on the couch made it cozy .My husband hated that he had to wait sooo long for the coffee to finish brewing .(half hour ) Also we are seniors who would have loved “grab bars” in the 2showers on first floor . Our safety in showers is a very big concern for seniors or really for anybody .Also the main bedroom bathroom no light to light up shower area . Jacuzzi tub not working very disappointing .That was one of the reasons to rent it .we felt cheated .We did contact owner her answer was not satisfactory. We would rent it again only if jacuzzi tub works.

Great stay We stayed here for a business trip, was perfect as the lower rooms were spaced for employees and our family took the upstairs ! I have to say it was nicer then expected pictures dont do it justice.
