It is also 1 hour's drive from the Aosta Valley (Mont Blanc, Monte Rosa, Matterhorn) and 145 km from Milan. Alpette is a pretty village at the beginning of the Orco Valley about 1000 meters above sea level. L.M. and its mountain climate makes it an ideal destination for stays. It constitutes a very suggestive panoramic point, from which the gaze can sweep over the Orco Valley and the Gran Paradiso Massif. In addition to beautiful walks in Monte Mares (1600 m), Monte Soglio (1971 m) in about 3 hours of walking and Monte Soffietto (1250 m) in about 1 hour of walking, there are also six equipped picnic areas, walls of climbing and the possibility of paragliding. At Alpette you can have fun in simple excursions, immersed in the peace of green pastures and shady woods.
