Icon Condesa

For some reason I didn't have particularly high expectations of this place. The apartment s looked a little small. I'd read they could overheat during the day. It looked like it might be a little noisy. And it felt like it might be a little bit corporate rather than authentic/historic I must say I was very pleasantly surprised! Lovely size apartment, amazing views from our 18th floor (I'd pick a high floor if you get the chance), much less noisy than a place we'd rented just before in central Condesa (lots of rumbling noises from the city below but more background than what you get at street level), really truly spectacular roof terrace, decent location on fringes of Condesa, and great pool and play area that kept the kids entertained for hours. If you are travelling with a young family and want good location, safe environment, runaround rooftop space for stories in the evening etc and a pool area all without paying a fortune I can warmly recommend this place!
