Suites at Congress Ocean Drive

I have stayed here a couple times in the past. Last time was Sept 2021. It is now May 22 and I just noticed that the Hotel has charged my Credit Card 2055$ I called the bank and closed the account and open up a fraudulent transaction report. I then called the hotel and called the hotel and called the hotel. 20+ times. No one answers and no call backs.(WHAT BUSINESS DOESN'T ANSWER THE PHONE?) I then did a little research on this place and they have a history of the staff stealing Card #s and using them. Read their Google reviews, there and many complaints of this happening . I am going to call the Miami police and file a report and then file a complaint with the Fla attorney general office

I stayed at this hotel and presented my credit card, a uncommonly used card, for the required room deposit. I noticed that the pending deposit never posted to my account and thought it odd but moved on. 5 days later my card is being excessively used to order doordash at restaurants in Miami Beach... while I'm back at work in another state. The only time I used that card the entire weekend was during check in at Congress Suites. So Beware.

So we booked this trip prior too pandemic Dec of 2019. We booked a room with full ocean view paid over 1,200 dollars. Arrived July 3 2021. Was given a room 2nd floor. Next too trash disposal next too stairs and directly across from a parking garage. Room had not been cleaned. No tissue. No towels no clean sheets no. Iron no blow dryer. Feces on the wall in bathroom. Was so terribly distraught my daughter flew in for her enterprise too see this Room. She busrt into tears. Horrific this Room was disgusting we called the front desk no help at all they said go buy your own toilet paper and towels. With no rooms available in area we did we go to cvs and bought tissue and towels. I called and called spoke to a man with no managerial experience named Mark. He suggested we pay over 500.00 he may be able to get us a room only we pay 500.00 plus. This was so heart wrecking to my soul how we were racially discredited and racially profiled due obviously too the color of our skin and our name. And that explains why we were put too the very back of this hotel next too the trash bin. I've been trying and trying too get my full refund due too bad hotel stay. I've e mailed several times to a lady named Nouira Souifa who claims she is head of guest services. But refused too accomadate my request for a full refund due too the racial profiling and harassment of this establishment she said she would only credit the days we had scheduled but did not use. Now please this is appalling to be treated like this and then asked to come back and use this credit for leaving early due too there very very bad treatment and discusting hotel .. So I've seeked legal action unless this lady name Nouira Soufia refunds me fully. Please read this review and take my advice not suitable for anyone I mean anyone

Do not stay here. They advertise as a hotel . They are private own. We've been here 4 days . We have ask for clean towels and coffe they keep saying they have email the owner?? Horrible service !! Loud music 7 days out of the week. No black out curtains either ! Very disappointed!

I ignored the housekeeping warnings, and oh boy. Trash can? One tiny bucket that doesn’t get emptied. Fresh towels and TP? You have to ask for them. What about the old towels you ask? The won’t be removed, but under the sink makes a nice spot for them to pile up! Make sure you wipe ALL sand off of you before you enter the room, because the floor never gets swept and it might feel like you brought the beach back with you by the end of the week. Cleanliness aside, the location was great!
