Stay at-FL

Had a wonderful stay here with my daughter. We were thoroughly looked after and all the little details were catered for. Room was absolutely gorgeous. They absolutely went above and beyond for us, catering for my daughter who had slightly different preferences to the breakfast ones available! Nothing was too much for them and I thoroughly look forward to bringing my entire family back for a longer day next time. Thank you so much!

We had the best time ever. The place was gorgeous. The hostesses were kind and very helpful and we had a great time. We totally loved every moment! We can't wait to go again and we highly recommend it!

Stay@FL what a great find! We had an overnight stay in the Courtyard Suite after our flight returned to Gatwick. This is a small, but luxurious boutique hotel/bed and breakfast. The owners/hosts do everything they possibly can to make your stay as perfect as it can be and work with you around your needs. So personal, so good for me! Beautifully furnished, 5* bed, bedding, towels and all the amenities one could need. Beautifully clean. A lot of thought has been put into this place and it's guests! The breakfast was delicious, with freshly laid eggs provided by the resident "girls" (hens). Sadly, we did not get to try the restaurant or spa facilities (which I think is in the process of being finished). All I can conclude with is, give this place a try....you won't be disappointed!

We spend one night and one day at that amazing place. And we really enjoyed it. The owners make an amazing atmosphere from we came to we left. The interior was so relaxing inside and outside. We had an amazing dinner at the restaurant when we came, délicat breakfast in the morning and a lunsj made specially for us. After breakfast I had a fantastic masasje in a delicate spa room. We can really recommande this place👍👍👍🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

We had a lovely warm personal welcome. Our room was luxurious and extremely comfortable. I loved the window, that opened up to create a balcony effect, so you really felt the beauty of the location. Having booked dinner we had use of the snug with its log fire, where we had pre dinner drinks, which created a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The meal was amazing, a six course taster menu with beautifully paired wines. Breakfast was with freshly laid eggs, I chose the beautifully scrambled with smoked salmon. I would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay @ FL. The hosts, Rich & Paul, take care of every need. A WhatsApp group was setup on the morning of our arrival asking if we had any specific requirements. As we were also dining this was greatly appreciated so we could provide any allergies etc. The location is very secluded and you feel you are somewhere special and different. From the bed linen to the toiletries and the general first class decour, nothing has been left to chance. Anyone looking for somewhere to stay for a special occasion or even somewhere to stay before a flight from gatwick (only 10 mins away) you will struggle to find better. Would also 100% recommend dining @ FL. A sublime fine dining tasting menu with wine flight, we will be back.

We enjoyed two relaxing nights in a super king suite. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome & knew our stay would be enjoyable. The room was well appointed although in summer months light sleepers may struggle with the blinds rather than curtains. It should be noted you can hear every conversation in the kitchen whilst in the bathroom 😀 Breakfast was good but a wider selection would have been appreciated. Cereals or fresh fruit to begin would have been our preference. Would we stay again? For sure.

My husband and I had a fantastic time here. Paul and Rich were such accommodating hosts who obviously work really hard at maintaining the lodge and providing wonderful customer service. The rooms are so comfortable, clean and luxurious with an amazingly large bathroom and a fantastic jet bath! The breakfast was delicious and as its a small lodge (2 bedrooms) the service is much more personal and attentive. We also had a wonderful experience having a meal in the restaurant and a massage in the treatment room. Checking in and out was super easy and we were also given recommendations of places to visit during the day. Overall, a very lovely weekend and we would definitely stay again if in the area. It was a pleasure to meet Paul and Rich.

10/10 for personal service!!! Rich was the perfect host. We wanted a weekend away for a break from our 4 children. We flew in Saturday morning from Holland to attend a friends 50th on Saturday evening. On arrival at the hotel Rich had prepared a private lunch on his terrace with oysters, mussels and champagne. The quality of the seafood was excellent. Rich sat with us and chatted but also gave us privacy. After our meal we got early check in to the room which was very clean, comfortable with all the amenities you would expect with a very homely feel. In the afternoon there was a train strike and Uber had a large surcharge for central London so Rich drove us one out to Wimbledon so we would make our party on time. Sunday morning was equally amazing with a beautiful champagne brunch before Rich dropped us to the airport. Rich really went above and beyond and we will certainly be coming back!! This is a gem of a place in a beautiful rural setting not far from Gatwick but in a secluded and quiet location, all you hear is birds. We feel rejuvenated and it was one of the best experiences we have had in a long long time. Well done Rich!! Greetings Mark and Kim.
