Hotel Mercurio

If I could give it 3.5 stars, I would. I was initially worried after reading many of the recent reviews but was pleasan surprised upon arrival. The hotel staff were friendly, the room cleaner than anticipated and the beds were comfortable. The location was ideal with restaurants, bars and shops all within walking distance and it was only 10 minutes from the main metro which could get you to the Milano Centrale Train station in under 20 minutes. There were some downsides, however: - Having to pay additional money for the Aircon. The Aircon also dripped water on our heads on occasion - One of the sockets by the bed would spark dangerously and give an electric shock whenever you tried to use it - The decor could use updating and the room lacks some essentials found in other hotels such as sufficient toiletries, a kettle, an iron, a safe, etc - The walls are very thin meaning you can hear everything and makes you feel a little uncomfortable about speaking and such - Having to hand in your key every time you leave the hotel can be inconvenient and make you feel a little guilty when you are only leaving for 5 minutes to get water All in all though, a pleasant stay and does not deserve the level of negativity it has received.

Partendo dal concetto che non avevamo grosse pretese a noi bastava un letto e una doccia ecco si ferma lì.... Stanza piccolina, ma pulita, doccia spandeva un po' ovunque.... Silenziosa per essere sui navigli.... Colazione... Brioches forse un po' datate, l'affettato e il formaggio erano chiusi in un fazzolettino di carta..... Quindi se si chiudono gli occhi problema risolto....

Mi amiga y yo hemos ido a pasar el fin de semana, con el error de no haber leído las opiniones. Ya desde fuera del hotel se ve venir lo de dentro. Las sábana con una mancha de a saber qué, las mamparas de la ducha no se cerraban por completo, el agua se salía por distintos orificios de la alcachofa de la ducha. Sin mencionar que evidentemente el papel higiénico era el restante de huéspedes anteriores. La lámpara de mi pared rota, con miedo a que se me cayera en la cabeza. Y aunque hay mantas y calefacción, son habitaciones muy frías y las mantas no calientan nada. Las paredes de papel. Se oye todo Pero el colmo fue cuando llegamos el segundo día y habían entrado a la habitación y muy lejos de la realidad de limpiarla. La cama mal hecho , como si hubieran tirado las mantas de mala gana. Evidentemente la mancha ahí seguía porque no nos han cambiado las sábanas. Ni mencionar por supuesto las toallas. Las llaves tienes que entregarlas si vas a salir...y confía en dejar ahí tus cosas.
