When I arrived to the hotel that I had already paid for, they told me it was overbooked. I have worked in the hospitality industry and regardless they need to find you a room may it be elsewhere and pay for your travel to another hotel. I told them they need to figure something out otherwise I am sleeping in their lobby. The security guard did not take too kindly to that comment. I was eventually found a room that had already been slept in. One of the beds was clearly used and the other was for me. The other bed did not look used so at least I had that. I did not receive any compensation for the mistake on their part. The front desk was only apologetic and did not make up for the inconvenience and dirty room.
