La Bella Modena Centro

A beautiful place to stay. The Bella Modena is chic and upscale. The decor is both classic and modern. Your room will be nicely appointed and spotlessly clean. The ceiling frescoes are original and stunning. We didn't think there was a closet. We pushed a random handle. Voila'. A nice size closet that you can hideaway for extra space during the day. The location is on a quiet street just a block or two away from the central Modena crowds. If you have a car you'll be happy with the secure private parking lot. Take the tour of the onsite Balsamic vinegar factory. It's famiy owned, definitely authentic, and sold at the hotel. There is a little common area with espresso and teas available. The rooms have a cute little refigeration contraption big enough for a couple water bottles. I highly recommend the Bella Modena.

Great central location, easy to reach from Bologna airport (c. 1.5 hours from leaving airport via Bologna airport shuttle monorail, Bolognia-Modena train, then 20 minute walk - can obviously be faster if using some taxis). Close to most central Modena locations - 5 minutes' walk to bars, cafes and restaurants, 5/10 minutes to Duomo and the Gallerie Estense, 20 minutes to Modena train station where you can get connections to Bologna, Parma and so on, 25 minutes' walk to the Enzo Ferrari museum. Easy check-in using the instructions sent in advance via email. There is a small private car park (but we didn't use it). Lovely, well laid-out room, comfortable bed with a nice, firm mattress. Big TV and reliable wi-fi (which didn't drop once during our stay). Clean, modern bathroom with excellent shower and a good hairdryer. Room cleaned and tidied, and water and toiletries restocked, each day (as long as you have gone out by around 11 am). Property owner was on site every day from 8:30 to 10:30 am but also available via Whatsapp if anything was needed, and was very quick to respond. Very friendly and helpful and speaks very good English (much better than my Italian!). The road the property is on can get a little busy sometimes, but you can't hear it with the windows shut. If you expect to have the windows open to let a little cool air in, it would be worth taking some ear plugs. There are some small local shops dotted around to pick up snacks and drinks for the room if needed (we used Frutta E Verdure Italbangla which was 4 minutes' walk away). We loved La Bella Modena and will (hopefully) stay again next time we visit Modena.

Stupendo!!! B&B praticamente a due passi dal centro . Camera perfetta con bagno pulitissimo, zona breakfast con macchina caffè e the al piano inferiore dove puoi rimanere per un attimo di relax guardando la tv . Check-in da remoto semplicissimo e proprietaria disponibilissima ad aiutarti per ogni tua richiesta , oltre alla possibilità di prenotare posto auto interno alla villa (che è un surplus non da poco !) Lo consiglierò ai miei amici per i prossimi viaggi

La bella modena ha reso il nostro soggiorno a modena ancora più piacevole. Struttura elegante e completamente ristrutturata. Camera spaziosa, pulita e dotata di tutti i comfort. Personale gentilissimo. Autonomia assoluta nelle procedure di check inn e check out. Pochi minuti a piedi e si è in pieno centro. Sicuramente consigliato!
