Hotel Mojácar Playa

So lovely to be back. A lot of changes since last year. The pool area has been upgraded. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve slept in for a very long time. The rooms were spacious with new towels and bed coverings. Nice strong hairdryer. The aircon was very effective. The fridge was a bonus which gave us chance to take advantage of the Dia below so that we could eat on the balcony at sunset. The staff were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us, especially at breakfast where they personally served us. A very good idea considering some people feel it’s their right to take extra for lunch, we also felt it was so much more hygienic. Perhaps a breakfast menu placed on the tables would give people informed choice. Looking forward to staying again next year.

Mojacar Playa lots of beach clubs, bars, restaurants beach side. Recommend Vista del Mar. SensacionesTapati. Rusty Nail. Big beach but in places looks gritty and not soft sand. Man made bits that are fine. Mojacar Pueblo up hill. Small whitewash village.

Firstly, the good bits. The view from the room was fantastic. Sunrise every morning was stunning. Some of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Some were not. Now, the hotel is very dated and the furniture is very tired. The bed I had was uncomfortable and hard! The walls are wafer thin and every sound was heard!! There's a supermarket below the hotel which, should you need a few things, is a blessing. However, their loading bay was below our room, so each morning we were woken by the deliveries!! The bathroom is not too bad, but the towels are very worn. They are hard and scratchy, and small!! Ours were not changed during our 4 day stay! Breakfast was unusual to say the least! Queue at the bar for your hot drink of choice, whilst having the choices of toppings for your tostada reeled off to you. You have to ask for anything other than cereal, so croissant, pan au chocolate, yoghurt, fruit etc needs to be asked for, rather than just a buffet to help yourself. It's also quite a small area to eat in, so maybe a bit of background music would be good. I am happy with basic accommodation, but I'm afraid this hotel is very, very basic. Unfortunately we wouldn't return to this hotel, although would return to Mojacar!! Sorry.

Great little hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff. Breakfast was continental. Pool with provided sun beds. Great sea view from the balcony. Parking facilities with a great shop below. Restaurants walking either way from the hotel.

Está es la cuarta vez que vamos. Es un hotel familiar, en primera línea de playa. Las habitaciones amplias, limpias, la cama con un colchón comodo y la almohada también , no echas de menos la de casa. La comida buena y muy variada. Los trabajadores amables y educados. Hay una noche especial y fue en honor a la mascota Delfy. Y todas las noches hay animación para niños y también para mayores. La playa es buena, aunque al principio tiene algunos chinitos pero enseguida pasas a la arena, el agua trasparente y calentita.

Estuvimos 2 días. Habitación especiosa, limpia, con terraza y vistas al mar. Además el hotel cuenta con piscina y desayuno muy completo incluido. Hemos estado muy bien atendidos por el personal, siempre amable y cercano. Muy recomendable.
