Blackwood Park Cottages Mole Creek

We had 2 enjoyable nights in the Hobbit cottage (previous stay in this cottage was 2014 and we stayed in Ariel 1 in 2021). It is a lovely heritage cottage with a wood fire and plenty of room. You get breakfast provisions and full oven to cook. The property is beautiful and the area is lovely. Our only issue is that the chairs in the lounge are not comfy at all. We gave Yuko this feedback as we left which was graciously received. We will be back.

This place is amazing. We stayed in the heritage convict cottage and the attention to detail was fantastic.

We loved our stay. Beautiful cottage with everything we needed. Hot spa on deck was great and loved the outlook. The property was lovely and nice to wander around and see the animals. We ordered a platter on arrival which was delicious and our host Shane informed us of all the local produce provided on platter plus the local wine.

We loved our stay at Blackwood Cottages. Property was absolutely beautiful and our hosts were amazing and so friendly. Loved hearing about the history of the property and especially thankful for the delicious local produce provided (such a wonderful surprise). The Hobbit Cottage was just gorgeous and we loved having a fire at night (it was cold enough for us Queenslanders!). Spectacular views from all around, and we loved wandering around the farm with the friendly dogs! Couldn't have asked for a better experience on our holiday, I'd recommend it to everyone. Incredible location. We stayed in an Ariel cottage with the spa on the deck. It was private and the spa was preheated for our afternoon arrival. Fresh farm eggs and bread. Fireplace was amazing. Bed was super comfortable. Incredible views to wake up and fall asleep to. Shane was welcoming, personable, informative and helpful. Easy access to Cradle Mountain. Highly recommended for a weekend getaway, special occasion or base to explore tge region. AMAZING.

Cute little historic cottage in a lush surrounding. Lovely hosts with nice little touches such as breakfast goodies sourced from the local area.

Great property with beautiful views.. really nice. Used our hot tub a lot and central to so many treks, towns and things to see. Cooking facilities are included and other than pub food was important with Woolies only half hour drive away.

My wife researched and booked this accomodation, bloody good selection. We we’re treated by Simon and his 2 friendly dogs, received a rundown on the amenities then left alone. A hour later an awesome platter of local cured meats and cheeses . . . And a rundown on the truffles. Very nice. After a day’s walk at Cradle Mountain the hot tub was extremely well received. Provisions for breakfast were again all local (even the Beerenberg jams are just up the road from our place in Adelaide . . . Hahndorf 😘) Even with an overcast day the scenery from the porch was fantastic, so much to see, so much to do but sipping wine reading a book suited us just fine. Combustion heater and ample firewood added to the experience. Anyone who asks, more than happy to recommend this spot. For those inclined, 4G was available and wifi along with Netflix was easily available (Not sure you’d need it)

Loved our cottage, our back yard had sheep & Alpacas. The birds sang & the wind rustled through the trees. The night sky just glorious.
