100% work every penny and 100% worth the drive! Terra Antica is set in the luscious hills near Montepulciano. It's such a rich setting. Spacious and quiet and wonderful amenities. Mario, our host, was helpful with ALL THE THINGS! Breakfast was included and I could have spent all day trying their delicious food. Home made quiches, cakes, fresh jams and marmalades, regional hams and cheeses and olive oil. Delightful all around!!

We had a great experience at Terra Antica. Anita was so welcoming and helpful even before we arrived. We explored Montepulciano before we arrived and didn't have a car. We had decided on completely relaxing during our stay with a goal of doing very little, which we accomplished. We did the wine tasting with Anita and she was spectacular. It was just my husband and myself and Anita went all out. She was so knowledgeable and really helped us understand how to pair wine with food. It was a great experience. The accommodations were absolutely outstanding. The apartments were beautiful and up to date and the views were breathtaking. I would highly recommend staying here. If we ever go back to Italy I would rent a car and stay at Terra Antica the whole time.

Terra Antica is a dream. It's the perfect combination of feeling like you are in your own secluded home yet afforded the service of a 5-star resort. We stayed for a week in late August of this year, and I still dream of returning. We are a family of 3, with a 4-year-old, and everything about our stay was magical. We booked the Panoramic Suite, and it was just that - views that made us feel like we were living in a painting. Montepulciano outside of our kitchen windows, the most amazing rolling hills of Tuscany from the living room and terrace...the photos on the site do not do justice to the beauty of this place. The space was impeccably clean, modern with high-end finishes in the kitchen, and welcoming. We had everything we could need and loved that we could text with the owner, Mario, for anything we further desired. Terra Antica is a must stay. It ranks as one of our top 3 stays of all time, and we have traveled A LOT.

Mario led us through a tour of the vineyard and then a fantastic lunch and tasting experience that was both great fun and learning experience. We were a group of 8 from Australia that have done a lot of wine tours in the past. This was up there with the best of them

This is a spectacular place, set in the country side of Montepulciano. Every detail is attended to by the staff; there is nothing a guest could want for. And all of this under the watchful eye of the Director, Mario Morello. He and his team made this a highly extraordinary experience, which included an amazing pasta making class (with Chef Rosa), outdoor massages in the “cube” and wonderful culinary recommendations. Every person should have the opportunity to stay here at least once in their life.

Beautiful location, super spacious suites and delicious breakfast. Also personnel very professional and helpful so this is a perfect getaway for relaxation and peaceful holiday. Also easy to get to Montepulciano and another places around.

Terre Antica, Mario and his world-class staff, are worthy of a 10 star review, if such a thing were possible. Mario is an incredibly gracious and thoughtful host, and the resort could not be more sublime. Private terraces, jacuzzis and an infinity edge pool overlooking the vineyard and glorious rolling Tuscan countryside. Modern and spacious villas with all of the conveniences one would need for a first-class stay. Mario, who is clearly a man of impeccable taste, gave us a private wine-tasting of the vineyard’s own incredible wines, including a delicious Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. I cannot recommend the resort more highly. Terre Antica will absolutely be one of the best experiences of your life. Thank you Mario!

Our stay at Terra Antica surpassed all of our expectations! The suite was spacious and modern with luxury amenities. The property was magnificent- we enjoyed the hot tub each afternoon. The breakfast was the best we had in all of Italy. I will recommend this property to anyone I know who traveling to this area. It was simply THE BEST!

The breakfast was wonderful and the wine tasting there was very informative, fun and tasty. We loved our first time drinking Nobile di Montepulciano! Mario and Sophie were gracious hosts. The resort is absolutely gorgeous!!! Wish we could have stayed a month.
