I travel quite a bit and this is the worst hotel during my 5 years of retirement. It wasn't one issue that made this the worst, but rather a series of annoyances that made it pooer to say the least. Firstly, upon entering my room I was confronted by the noise of the bus station across the street. I booed Days Inn because of the proximity to the bus station but never considered the fact that buses passing by could just about look into my window on the first floor. I asked for a room change immediately which was denied without adequate explanation. My Spanish is poor but there was no need to be curt. As I'm unpacking the hotel maid enters my room without even knocking ! Later in the day I realized that I did not know the time for breakfast. I was told 7:30 so the following morning I went to the lobby assuming the kitchen was on the main floor, but no it's on the 10th floor. Why couldn't this have been conveyed to me when I inquired about the time ? After 3 nights I realized that I was given the worst room in the hotel. The maids headquarters I found was directly across from my room. I could go on and on about the flapping flags above my balcony, the rusting towel racks, being charged for breakfast when it was included in my reservation etc etc.
