PLEASE NOTE: To get to The Nest, guests will need to walk down a gravel/mulch path that is on a slight decline...incline on the way back up. If you are only stable walking on flat surfaces, it may be difficult to get to and from The Nest. PLEASE NOTE that we have a 2nd home on the property that is also available to rent called Ridgeview. There may be guests there during your stay. The Nest is about fifty feet down the path from the main house. They are far enough apart and oriented in such a way that privacy for all is maintained. The Nest rear deck is partially visible from areas of the main house. If for whatever reason guests at Ridgeview are making your stay anything less than peaceful, please contact us and we will see to it that they respect your quiet enjoyment of the property. There is also plenty of dedicated parking for each home, including an EV charging station for each home. The last ½ mile or so are on a single-lane gravel road. In the winter, AWD is highly recommended. The home is beautiful in the snow, but getting there through the snow without AWD is not. Please remember that you’re staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space and the surrounding natural beauty with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living onsite 24/7. We DO NOT allow pets. We love animals and we know you love yours, but we cannot afford the cost to clean and maintain furniture and interiors associated with allowing pets. Important: We are committed to protecting our properties and keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations, which is why you may be asked to complete our independent verification through our partner Superhog/Know Your Guest. Please expect an email and/or text from Superhog shortly after making your reservation with a link to complete the guest verification and purchase the $35 accidental damage waiver. This covers you for any damages that may occur up to $500. Important: Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection.
