With your close proximity to both water and nearby woodlands, there’s no shortage of things to do. Activities include hiking on more than a dozen scenic trails, biking, kayaking, surfing, fishing, paddle boarding, bird watching, whale watching and of course, cooing at the adorable sea otters and chunky sea lions. After burning all those calories, you probably will be feeling quite famished. Don't worry! An array of fantastic restaurants are within walking distance of Fog & Stars cottage. Whether it be fresh seafood on Embarcadero street or spicy Thai food downtown, you will never run out of choices. Speaking of downtown, you can stop by the historic Bay Theater for the latest movie, then do some shopping at the quirky vintage shops the area is known for.
