Surrounded by nature and just a stone’s throw from the coast, the setting is both peaceful and breathtaking. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and cared for by the incredible staff, who went above and beyond to make each day special. The food was a real highlight – fresh, flavorful, and prepared daily with local ingredients. Every meal felt like a celebration. There’s also no shortage of activities to enjoy. We explored beautiful mangroves, went snorkeling among dolphins and sea turtles, and soaked in the natural beauty all around us. This place is a true gem – perfect for anyone looking to unwind in a serene and unique environment. Highly recommended!

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights at Msambweni Beach House, at Private Villa 1. What we wanted to achieve was a peaceful quiet retreat for a few days, absorbing the sights, smells and sounds of the Swahili coast from the comfort of a luxurious clean beach house with a private pool that can be used all day, combined with good local food, a massage or two, and having the opportunity to learn about the local community in this part of Kenya. Within this scope, Msawbeni Beach House delivered an incredible and superb experience across ALL fronts ! The location is cut-off from busy city centres and there are few (if any) distractions. You can walk on the beach during low tide, or swim during high tide, or just spend as much time as you want in the large private pools or the shared huge pool. The water (and everything else!) is immacutely clean. The food was simply amazing - varied everyday - and a full board service! However, the standout feature is the staff - not just friendly - but super professional and committed to making your stay the most memorable and pleasant it can be. This has made all the difference for us, and a huge shout-out and thanks to all the staff at Msambweni Beach House!!!! What is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (like everyone else is saying) is the village tour. This is not a tourist trap. It is not a manafuctured experience. The Beach House is part of the community and organises these tours to have a real glimpse into the daily lives of the local community. We visited a couple of schools and the village core, and met with a lot of people who despite facing their difficulties, live a fulfilled life surrounded by community, love and family.

We had a wonderful stay at Msambweni Beach House, staying in private villa 1 and a master suite 3. The welcome and service was excellent, warm and hospitable. The combination of the natural setting and the beautiful layout and design is stunning. We also loved the beach club barbecue restaurant and the quiet beach. We did visit to the village which enabled us to properly engage with the local community and understand a bit more about where we were staying. Overall the quality of our entire trip was outstanding - we felt we had landed in paradise!

We had a lovely five-day stay in Villa Number 2. Private swimming pool with beautiful ocean views.The staff were friendly ensuring our stay was comfortable. Relaxing massages are a must — a lovely way to unwind. As a side note, we had heard some rumours about nearby construction work, but the agent personally checked and confirmed the neighbouring property had already been completed. The outdated Google Earth image we came across caused some unnecessary concern, as this phase had already been completed.

Beautiful boutique hotel with amazing views and even better staff. A warm welcome from an accommodating team,quick to respond to needs. Such good food! Great dhow sundowner on funzi island.. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. The hotel even in peak season, doesn't feel cramped ensuring you get enough privacy.

I had the pleasure of staying at one of the villas at Msambweni House this past weekend. The experience is still fresh in my mind. The happy faces you meet in and around Msambweni..Edith, Noelle, Ivy, Edwin, Shilingi just to name a few.. the mouthwatering meals with absolutely stellar presentation.. the pools, oh the pools are absolutely amaazing. I swam till my arms were sore haha. The stunning views from the restaurant, the villas, every part of this hotel is simply breathtaking! The activities the hotel organized for us including Longevity exercises, volleyball at the beach, peptang...Simply put, I had the time of my liife !!! On the last night we had dinner by the beach! That just blew my mind away . Msambweni truly is just the place to be!!! I made friends and you all impacted my life so sweetly. I definitely will be back with my whole clan!
