My 84 year old father and I had a delightful stay in this beautifully modern and extremely clean apartment. Great proximity to other family staying in Somesville, at Mt Desert Campground - and in Manset. The ride into Bar Harbor etc is not far at all. Kira was so accomodating but at the same time respected our privacy. The grounds are gorgeous and the approach to the house is wonderfully 'Maine'.Definitely looking to rebook for next year!

Very peaceful stay in lovely woods
Extremely secluded and well-designed/curated apartment near Somesville— with easy access to all of Acadia- great swimming options and hikes nearby. We loved everything about this special place.

The Perfect Maine Stay
This was the perfect place to stay! Great location for everything to see on Mount Desert Island, and close to Acadia National Park! Nestled in the quiet woods, the owner takes great care of the home. It was a very clean and well-kept space, larger than we anticipated! Would absolutely stay here for our next visit to Maine!!

A nice getaway!
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The location is away from main roads, and very quiet (which we loved!) It is a basement apartment with everything you need. Only 20 minutes from the main shopping area. The host was wonderful!
A few things to be aware of: there’s no walkway to the door (you just walk across the grass), and there’s no stove/oven (they have a plug in cook top instead which worked great).
We had a great time and would totally rent here again!!

Beautiful cottage
This place looks like one of Thomas Kinkade paintings, it’s quite so peaceful and very charming I definitely would recommend a stay

Lovely retreat on the quiet side of Mt Desert Island]
We stayed here for a visit to Mt Desert Island. The apartment is located away from the crowds, but not a long drive to get anywhere. It had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable and it was just what we needed after hiking/sightseeing during the day.
