Best Western University Inn

Just came in to town for a graduation and spent the night. Perfect for a quick stay. Would definitely stay again.

Our room was great and very clean. The front desk staff was terrific and check in was a breeze. The breakfast was very good with many selections and the attendant was amazing as well as all the staff.

The people working at the hotel were awesome! They took such good care of us. Fresh sheets and towels..everything was so cared for. Breakfast was great.

The beds were very hard Holes in the blanket Tv didn’t work Room had a weird smell

I can't say enough good things about the staff here. they were so friendly and helpful. The room we booked though, was a little dark and definitely had the smell of cigarette smoke.

The woman who checked us in was super friendly and helpful. We were in town for family weekend and had a great experience at the hotel. It was conveniently located near Murray State University and easy to get in and out of! It was not fancy but it was great!

Once checked in, we “attempted” to get settled into our room, but our key cards would not work to unlock the door. Upon talking to the staff, they were unable to fix the issue due to a software upgrade and were told we would have to contact the front desk any time we needed to access our room and high we did for the next 2 days. There was no smoke detector in the room, rooms looked NOTHING like the pictures online and the pool was unable to be used after dark because the lights didn’t work. There was also a strange white powder in the drawers, on top of the dresser and under the dresser. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BOOK ELSEWHERE!

Great staff, rooms were not like pictured, trash had been left in our bathroom and not taken out by housekeeping.

I arrived to a scene in which a front desk employee was being rude and argumentative to a guest who was wanting to cancel due to a door lock issue. That immediately set me on guard. Another employee was able to step in and help the guest. My door cards never did work and I had to call to be let in my room each time I came back. My toilet had black flakes around the edge of the bowl and the toilet ran constantly. That was fixed by maintenance. The bed pillows were tiny squares. The room was clean which I appreciate. The key issue is absolutely unacceptable and quite frankly should warrant a partial refund. Initially, I wasn't even told my keys may not work even though the entire motel was having issues with key cards not working. I was a single woman waiting at 11 PM to be let back into my room after a call to let me in had to be made. Every guest dealing with this issue should have been given a partial refund immediately. I would have left but I was in town for a college event and did not have time to deal with the issue.
