Located in Nantahala National Forest across from the beautiful Nantahala Lake in the Great Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina! Nestled in the heart of Nantahala, the Pala Chino Yurt is the perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature. Enjoy stunning forest views, watersports on Lake Nanatahala, take a hike on Bartram Trail, have a coffee from your private deck, or curl up by the fire with a good book. Our yurt is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a kitchenette, full-size bathroom and shower, queen-size bed, and a pillow-top futon sofa. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, attending a wedding nearby, or enjoying a family vacation, our yurt is the perfect place to create lasting memories. The half-acre property has plenty of parking and turnaround space (up to three vehicles allowed), a 10 foot picnic table, large fire pit, and private outdoor deck space. Vehicles with low ground clearance and motorcycles are not recommended, as the road and driveway up the hill are gravel. Trailers are prohibited. Inside, you’ll find the queen size bed that sleeps two adults as well as the futon sofa that sleeps one adult or two small children. The kitchenette is equipped with an apartment-style fridge and freezer, induction burner cooktop, microwave, coffee pot, and other small standard kitchen appliances. For routing your phone maps to the yurt, please route when you leave your current location (while you still have cell service). YOU WILL LOSE SERVICE WHEN YOU’RE ABOUT 10-15 MILES AWAY. If you keep your cell phone maps routed and DON'T TOUCH IT, it will still keep your route up to the property.
