The Cottages at Nantucket Boat Basin

BUYER BEWARE - I'm sure the cottages near the slips are lovely but we were directly above the gazebo. Music blasting all night. The apartment (not a quaint cottage as advertised) was outdated and disgusting. Would not recommend at all with so many great places to stay on island.

Truly an exceptional stay. From the time they picked us up at the ferry to the time they dropped us off, the entire staff took such amazing care of us. We loved our one bedroom cottage. Well decorated, and very well appointed. The location can’t be beat, and I loved sitting out on the porch drinking my morning tea and looking at the harbor. It was so close to everything and the bicycles included for our stay was a wonderful touch. Shout out to Erica, Cecil, and Randall especially, but they were not the only wonderful staff members we met (but the only ones whose names I can recall). We will be back!

I contacted customer service via email to reschedule my trip due to a family member being in the hospital. No reply. ******* rang them on my behalf. They said that their policy was strict and that I would to cancel in order to reschedule.. losing my $1,000 in the process. Zero customer service. Avoid!

My husband and I took our daughter to Nantucket for her 7th birthday and after ENDLESS RESEARCH decided upon the cottages because it seemed ideal for our family needs. The receptionist knew this and had a cute gift bag waiting for her when we walked in. Upon our arrival we had to wait some time to be checked into our room due to a maitance issue HOWEVER the manager saw us sitting on the benches outside and immediately fixed the problem by upgrading us from our studio to a 2 bedroom cottage that we could settle into right away. The kitchen was fully stocked with the necessities (dish soap, paper towels, plates, cups, cooking utensils, pots and pans, even a dishwasher!) It was nice to not have to worry about any of those small things. Huge island and a large dining table in the open space living room/kitchen made us feel right at home. The bathroom was stocked with everything you many need as well, including luxurious robes and high end toiletries, and plenty of towels. The bedrooms both had large closets with hangers, a safe and ironing board. Beds are super comfortable. The best part was the deck where we ate breakfast every morning with a breathtaking view. Very impressed with The Cottages at the Nantucket Boat Basin, the staff as well as accommodations. Couldn't recommend it enough. Well done.
