Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville-Downtown

The bed was very close to the loud heater/air conditioning unit with no way to change the direction of the air flow - every time it ran its cycle, cold air blew across our faces. A few of the recessed ceiling lights were unpleasantly blinding. There was a shelf used for clean towels in the bathroom - it was obstructing the use of the sink and it was nearly impossible for brushing teeth or face washing. The faucet was so close to the edge of the sink - it caught nearly none of the water while washing hands and ended up all over the countertop. The toilet made an obnoxious clanking noise every time anyone sat down and stood back up. The shower leaked water creating a sizeable puddle onto the bathroom floor. The suspended nightstand was halfway detached from the wall. The college dorm style lamp on the desk looked tacky. Signs stated the lobby bar was open until 11pm every night, but apparently it closed whenever the bar tender felt like clocking out. We would've enjoyed a drink at 9pm one evening and 10pm another evening, but the bar was closed at both attempts. The chairs throughout the lobby needed reupholstering and/or cleaning. A few times during our stay, the front desk was unattended for unacceptable periods of time. The best thing this place has going for it is the location and the continental breakfast.

Lots of things to do and see by staying Downtown, but it does get loud. Bring ear plugs if you can’t drown it out.

Great place to stay with one of the best continental breakfasts offered. Our room was really nice although we were on a street that was very noisy which required us to wear ear plugs to sleep. Overall though, great place to stay.

Great stay. The hotel was clean and close to amenities in town. The only problem was the valet parking was expensive and either the only option, or we weren’t informed of any other option.

Very Noisy area. Never cleaned our room. We were there 4 days. No Housekeeping. We had to go to the front desk to get any supplies.

This was a great location to explore Nashville. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. One of the better hotel breakfasts I’ve had. The hotel was great and we would stay there again. Only bad part was there was a very loud group of people that came down the hallway at 1am. It took them 30 minutes to finally quiet down. This was not the hotel’s fault so I will not rate them on that. People should just be more considerate.

Hotel was clean and friendly staff. It is just a close walk to the main ***** where all the action is. They have a great breakfast with a lot of options. Valet parking if your into that.

We stayed here for five nights and had a great time! Ale at the front desk was so kind and accommodating - she went above and beyond to make our stay special. The breakfast was great and the room was spacious and clean. The hotel is within walking distance to all the main attractions, especially Broadway, but is also quiet. We would recommend this hotel to everyone staying in downtown Nashville. We’ll definitely be back! Thanks Ale! :)

The hotel is in a great location - walked everywhere so no car needed. The rooms are spacious, but it wasn't as clean as it could have been. The tub was dirty and the floor (track) under the bathroom/closet door was gross... The shower had been rigged up at least a couple of times, and the second shower head was loose/fell out of it's hook. That all said - I would stay there again... but they should reinvest some of that $$ they're making on updates. =)
