HC Calahonda Beach Nerja

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at this hostal! The standout features were how super clean everything was, and the amazing terrace with a jacuzzi and fantastic views. The lovely guy on reception ( sorry I can’t remember your name) was also super helpful, providing great local tips and going the extra mile to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The hostal also boasts a great central location, and while the rooms are compact, they have everything you need for a short stay. Even with the windows open, the street noise below is just a pleasant general hubbub of people wandering the lovely Nerja town (no cars) and when they're closed, you can't hear anything. It's important to note that this is a hostal, not a hotel; this was a first for us, so there are no drinks, breakfast, or meals provided. However, its central location means you're only a short walk from numerous cafes and restaurants.and literally steps away from the Balcon De Europa. We were able to easily grab breakfast and coffee to enjoy in our room or on the roof terrace. The abundance of nearby restaurants also made finding a place for dinner a breeze. We would highly recommend this hostal to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Nerja.

Perfect location steps from the Balcon, restaurants and shops. Soto at the desk was friendly and helpful. The hotel is small, very clean and modern. Rooms are compact and basic; comfortable bed and well appointed bathroom. You can’t hear the street noise, but we did hear our neighbours at 2 am. The number pad is convenient instead of a key. Great place for a night or two.

Absolutely fabulous place . Brand new , modern. Comfy beds . Very quiet even though it’s on the busy street . Rooftop jacuzzi and sunbeds with a view of the Balcon. I would recommend this place. USB ports beside the beds , the lighting all over the building is amazing . Keyless entry . The place is bright and clean and has a lovely beach theme . The staff are so friendly and welcoming too. We really enjoyed out stay .

Amazing. Booked partial seaview room was amazing spotless and tastefully decorated with such a comfy bed and balcony overlooking the streets and rooftop seaview and a great price! Staff are so helpful and friendly the whole place is recently renovated and wonderfully fresh and clean. Bathroom is super great shower and again spotless. Fantastic roof top chill out/ sunbathing area with fantastic clean jacuzzi with sea views. Don’t let hostal put you off it’s anything but as they don’t serve food I think they get that title.. not sure? Walk out the door and you are right in the middle of the bars shops and restaurants. We will definitely return a five star experience! Thank you HC Calahonda.
