St. Panteleimon Beach Hotel

Amazing welcome the minute we arrived. Receptionist so polite, sorry I can't pronounce his name xx. Even got an upgrade. Rooms top spec and immaculate. Pool beautiful. View lovely. Staff great,always helpful. Sacre restaurant amazing, ace chef and waiters. Thanks to Plum and Mr Fast. A bit isolated unless you figure out the buses. But perfect for a truly relaxing break.

From the minute we arrived we were astounded by the warm welcome we received from Reception. We had both booked independently on different dates so they unaware we were related! On booking we both expected budget double rooms but to our delight they upgraded us to double apartments on the ground floor overlooking the pool! 20 mins later we met on our adjoining balcony’s in lush white robes and slippers! Breakfast was lovely and replenishment was constant. We were the first in the extremely cold pool. The restaurant attached Sacre was totally amazing. Every cuisine catered for and attending staff also extremely accommodating and kind. Rooms very clean, fresh and modern. Hairdryers, shampoo etc all there. Fresh towels every day, beach towels provided too! All in all a fantastic hotel with fabulous staff. A 4 star credit ⭐ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

We emailed ahead to let the hotel know my daughter and myself have coeliac disease so could we have gluten free bread and pastries at breakfast. We asked on the first morning, they had none. For the next 3 days we asked but no. After reading reviews where people had been given lovely gluten free bread and pancakes we were very disappointed. Staff would only say good morning/good evening if we said it first, or else there was no greeting. Breakfast waitresses were almost rude as they would barge past, never smiling. I even got told off and pushed away from the water machine when filling my child’s bottle 5 minutes after breakfast ended. There were other people still having things to eat and drink so I thought I’d get some water. They didn’t stop others, only me! Very nice, clean and comfortable building. Let down by the staff. One friendly man at breakfast and one young lady on the front desk but that was all. Be careful of taxi drivers over charging. Set your price before you get in the cab! Beautiful old town and some good trips.

It is a nice hotel! The location is perfect: not to far from stores, but in a silence and relaxed area. The beach and sea were closer and perfect for the children. There are some parking places in front of the hotel and if it is full you find places at 30 m all for free. The apartment was large, with nice furniture, also a small kitchen and all very clean. The ladies clean the room and change the towels every day. The breakfast was very good but almost the same every day. The people from reception and restaurant was nice, helpful and ready to help you with everything. The soap that you find in the bathroom is for all days, but I asked the cleaning lady and I received another. The Sacre restaurant is chic and offer a relaxing atmosphere with good food. You have 10% discount if you stay at the hotel. The pool is also nice, the water temperature is good also for children- there is also an small pool for them - and that was perfect for us. The water is clean, even there is a few sand at the corners of the pool. Every night the staff clean the pool. In conclusion - it was a nice experience in this hotel. I recommend it

Room wasn’t ready when we turned up so had to wait with our luggage in the restaurant. We would have had a drink and some snacks but 45 minutes later no one bothered to turn up so ended up being g ale to get into the room. The hotel is near a nice clean beach and quiet. It’s down a roughly paved track which is busy in the daytime due to beach goers. If I was a single lady I’d think twice about walking down at ngiht as it’s isolated and poorly lit. There are a few shops and a restaurant at the top of the road. The buss top to Ravda and Sunny beach is about ten minutes up the road. The room was clean, large with two large double beds, one was a sofa and it was cleaned daily. Shower was also good. Pool area needed some love, some of the loungers broken with nails ticking out. Pool again clean and a small baby pool. We were always able to get a lounger. Breakfast was good. Some of the hot food could have been hotter and the pancakes, which went quickly, needed to be topped up more often. The main reason for the average review is the staff were so inhospitable. They were very grumpy and seemed always fed up, none were openly rude it felt like we were very unwelcome. I wouldn’t go back for this reason as the hotel, whilst being clean, was devoid of atmosphere which really let it down.

Average place, let down badly by the service, would not recommend. Breakfast is good enough with selection of hot and cold food including a variety of eggs, sausages and pastries. Rooms are fine, clean and spacious. Location not ideal as not connected to public transport and taxi's will often try and charge 30lv for a 5 min journey which is over double what it should be. Waited over an hour for a taxi from the old town and the hotel staff, who had suggested to book through them, for whatever reason weren't able to help. It's a 30 minute walk otherwise. The surrounding area is mixed with a building site next door and route to South beach is strewn with rubble. Pool is fine, limited sunbeds that get reserved with an early morning towel. Staff were quite rude and very quick to point out that I couldn't bring my own food and drink to the tables by the pool; I would understand if I had brought a meal but it was just a banana that I had saved from breakfast, a bottle of water and a bag of nuts for snacking. I would have had lunch with my family afterwards at the hotel but after the poor attitude from the staff member I just went to the local beach. Another night we had booked a table in the restaurant but when we came down for dinner we had been put in the bar/reception away from the restaurant and the music. Staff were indifferent about this and just shrugged their shoulders as it was not their problem which prompted a complaint to Tui. Another day my wife had bought some water at the bar and sat at one of the unreserved poolside tables where she was berated for using one of the glasses by a waiter. She returned upset at the way that she had been spoken to. When I spoke to complain, there was no manager available and no efforts to make the situation better. Definitely would not stay here again; we are a polite and respectful family and you would hope that the staff would be on hand to make the stay easy and comfortable, unfortunately due to a couple of members of staff, that has not been the case.
