The Bissell Cottage is only five blocks from shopping and dining on historic Queen Street (far enough away from the hustle and bustle of town), minutes away from spectacular lakefront views where Lake Ontario and the Niagara River meet, and we're only one block from the best walking/riding trails in NOTL. We have all the amenities to make your ladies weekends, family celebration, or getaways memorable. The Wine tour companies will pick you up, and drop you off, and everything else is within walking distance. Everyone says we're the best kept secret in NOTL. Roland was an amazing host. He provided all the information we needed well in advance of our stay and so many extra touches ehich made our stay extra special. The cottage is charming and very comfortable. It is just a few blocks from downtown Niagra on the Lake.We would love to return one day

Bissel's Hideaway is such a lovely place to stay while in Niagara on the Lake. It is far enough away from the downtown core that it is nice and quiet but it is close enough to take a nice walk downtown. There is a lovely walking trail nearby and the neighbours are amazing. We will stay again. Roland is a gracious host and everything you need is provided. Check in is so easy and this home is so quaint and on a lovely, quiet tree-lined street.

The house was perfect for my family. Roland was timely in his communication, had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and even provided some recommendations of things to do in the area. The location is great and provided a fun morning stroll to the coffee shop and a great evening walk for ice cream. We are looking forward to staying here again.

NOTL MAY 2025 Excellent communication with Roland. Very clean —kitchen very well equipped. Fresh flowers were a great welcoming touch. We’d love to come again sometime.

Great location and everything we needed This is a great property within walking distance to the main street, theatres and restaurants. Really comfortable for two couples. Roland was responsive and provided everything we needed including tea, coffee, bottled water etc. Great location and value, we would stay again!

I would stay here again!! Fantastic location, very clean, great host. There were 2 of us, but you could easily have 3-4 people. Great for cyclists, super close to vineyards. Highly recommend! Thank you Roland!
