This historic protected cottage dates to at least 1835. It is fully updated with gas central heating, central air-conditioning and free wireless Internet. Free private parking. The pine floors in the living room are thought to be original. It is in one of the best streets in Niagara-on-the-Lake and the Shaw Theater is just an easy stroll of 300m or so away. You will be literally just a few steps from the historic centre! We have three double bedrooms with high quality beds and mattresses; Lounge with central heating and also traditional stove; separate Dining-room; Newly refitted modern kitchen and Luxury Bathroom with heated natural-stone floor; spacious rear patio equipped for barbecue. The famous Niagara Falls are just a short and beautiful drive of about 10 miles up the famous Niagara Parkway - "The prettiest Sunday drive in the world - Winston Churchill". Rates are from only $60 per person per night. We stayed here for a 4-day trip and had a lovely time! The cottage is exactly as described, well-kept, very clean and in the perfect location. All of the NOTL shops and restaurants are perfectly walkable and having access to the reserved parking space was convenient for car trips. The beds were comfy, the themed bedrooms were a cute touch, the bathroom is gorgeous and the check-in process was seamless. Will definitely plan to stay here again during our next visit to NOTL. Thank you!

Charming cottage. Quiet location just steps from Queen Street. Parking spot right by back gate was convenient. New bathroom was clean and shower worked well. Communication was easy with owner. Clean floors and surfaces inside but other areas need sprucing up. Couches are worn and dirty. Cob webs in windows and decor is old. I enjoy outdoor spaces when I travel and was looking forward to using the patio. However it has not been well maintained-weeds, leaves covered the patio and the table was covered in dirt. Umbrella was torn and old.Overall it worked out fine for our last minute trip to a beautiful area. Just a good cleaning and a few changes inside could make a big difference.

Sisters trip The cottage is close to the Shaw Theatre and many shops and restaurants and the beach. We were 4 sisters coming to the theatre and to see Niagara Falls.

good location home cute house with full kitchen and 3 bedrooms, newly renovated bathroom with living room. I am used to contemporary to modern stays. Peaceful and relaxing neighbourhood.Host was very accommodating and polite. I would recommend this house to my friends who like victorian style homes.

Interesting The cottage was spotless. The location was wonderful for the theater, restaurants, and shopping. If you have mobility issues do not rent this. The floor slopes throughout the house. Yes, it is original, but can be difficult for those with mobility issues. The gate needs to be repaired. The code for both the front door and back should be the same. We were only able to go in the back door. The reserved sparking spot was great. The beds were fairly comfortable and the area very quiet.

Wonderful Location, quaint historic house rather than luxury Although the manager answered the phone when called about a mouse. She said a hired man might come the next day. I said today would be our expectation. No traps or extra plugin repellers for kitchen were brought. Owner responded by email and expected the manager would deal with it. There were plugin repellers in other rooms. Suggestions: Add a proper fitting screen door and smaller screen or hardware cloth around the perimeter of the house. The house was the perfect location, size and came well equiped for our family so I was disappointed in the manager's lack of action.
