Lions Valley Lodge is located within the Nambiti Private Game Reserve, home to the Big Five as well as antelope and an abundant birdlife. The lodge features an infinity pool and free WiFi.
Offering a furnished deck, each of the free-standing suites at Lions Valley Lodge has a bedroom with a walk-in cupboard and a spacious lounge area. The open-plan bathrooms feature 2 baths, an indoor and an outdoor shower.
Meals are enjoyed either in the boma area or in the formal dining room. The lodge also has a well-stocked bar and a number of seating areas with views of the waterhole. At an additional charge, Lions Valley Lodge also offers massage treatments on request.
Morning and afternoon game drives are included in the daily rate at Lions Valley Lodge.

Everything about Lion’s Valley Lodge was incredible, the service, the lodges and the safari. Alex our guide was so knowledgeable about all things wildlife, plants and the reserve in general. Food was perfect and location magical. We will try to make the long trip back.

The staff are incredible, very friendly and so knowledgeable. The rooms are exceptional and the detail is what makes it. We saw loads of game, the food was impeccable and so were the drinks (the pink flamingo is a winner). Overall our experience was one to remember and we will definitely be back !

We spent 3 nights at the Lodge, did not want to leave with it exceeding all of our expectations in every aspect. 5 star accommodation, very generous sized couple Villas, inside & outside showers, 2 clawfoot indoor baths, timber fireplace, very comfortable furnishings. 5.30am wake up calls from our Ranger, whom then picked us up for our 6am Safari, then back to the Lodge for a huge breakfast. Generous lunch & then off again at 3.30pm for our afternoon/night Safari & then back to the Lodge for the fire & beautifully prepared/presented dinner. We have been in SA for 3 weeks & definitely the best meals we have experienced on our holiday. All Staff are outstanding from, very knowledgeable, friendly & accommodating to our every need. Now the Safaris, absolutely cracking definitely a highlight of our holiday & an experience we will remember for a lifetime!!! Thanks Kyle, Angie, Sia, Admire & Zee for your awesome hospitality!!

Such an incredible, luxurious and memorable weekend spent at the beautiful Lions Valley Lodge. From the moment we arrived, the professional staff made sure we were comfortable, well looked after and treated us with world-class meals, and bespoke game viewing experience. We had beautiful sightings, and despite the cold mornings and evenings, were provided with blankets and hot water bottles to ensure our game viewing experience was comfortable.

We stayed at Lions Valley Lodge for our first safari experience and it did not disappoint! The lodge is great, with spacious comfortable rooms and lovely communal spaces. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and the food was great (and plenty of it!) But the highlight was of course the game drives and our ranger who made the whole experience super special. Alex was incredible - he was knowledgable and great at telling stories and sharing information about all of the wild life from insect to birds to the bigger game. He always made sure all guests were comfortable and safe whilst out in the reserve. Thanks to all the staff and guides who made the experience so special. We saw 4 of the big 5 over the course of 3 days, learnt so much and had plenty of laughs. Thank you to the team for everything, we’re already planning our return!

Our friends were visiting from the UK, and a safari was a must do. We had an amazing time at Lions Valley Lodge! Matt and Alex, our guides, were fantastic, so knowledgeable and friendly. We had great sightings during each game drive. The food was also incredible. Highly recommend this place for a memorable stay!

From our arrival we were welcomed by smiley, friendly staff and this continued throughout our 3 night stay. Outstanding accommodation and food is absolutely delicious. In fact, I would say we haven’t stayed or eaten anywhere nicer. Big shout out to the two amazing bar staff who were chatty, funny, friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Leaving the best to last, Lions Valley have the most knowledgeable and motivated game rangers, especially Alex who was absolutely brilliant! He went over and above to show us everything the stunning Nambiti game reserve offers, from amazing, breathtaking views, insects, birds, plant life and of course the awesome animals that live and surround the lodge. His calm and reassuring persona made us feel safe. He showed determination and patience to ensure we saw the most incredible animals at their best, including elephants play fighting, a lion hunt, a cheetah kill and many many more unforgettable experiences that will stay with us for a lifetime. Thank you SO much Lions Valley, we didn’t want to leave and we really hope to return one day!

Spacious lodges, great food, amazing attentive staff. Brilliant game drives. The reserve is small enough (＜25,000 acres) to see a good selection of animals, close up! Great value - compared to the over priced reserves nearer the international airports. Easy to find (google maps or Waze) . 2nd visit and expect to be back again in the future.

Accommodation - so spacious (you can swing a rhino in there), romantic and spotlessly clean. Food - can not fault the meals, they really treat you to great meals, whether in the morning afternoon and evening Safari drives - this reserve has so many animals and every drive we took was filled with sightings from Lion, Cheetah, white and black rhinos, elephants and a vast array of antelope and the guides are really a great
