Ama-lurra Resort Gili Air

Die Villa war sehr schön und man hatte seine Privatsphäre. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hani und ihr Team waren super und total kinderlieb. Wir haben es geliebt am Strand das phantastische Frühstück genießen zu können. Es war eine tolle Zeit im Ama Lurra und können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Great facilities with private pool and located in front of the beach. Had some issues with AC not cooling enough, other than that it was a great stay.

Me and my sisters had the best stay here! one of the nicest places we stayed during our two weeks in Bali. So chilled and laid back, and lovely tidy rooms with hot water too! The staff are lovely - Fikri was AMAZING and a true star, he was so helpful and kind and made our stay so special ＜3 thank you Fikri for going the extra mile. Lovely cocktails to watch the sunsets.

We had 6 nights here and we could have done a lot more, fantastic resort, the staff were brilliant. I have to give Denny a special mention he's a lovely fellow and very helpful as all the staff are. The villas were really nice the food was very good.

The staff were friendly The drinking water is not ideal sitting outside in the sun all day We were impressed when our fridge did not work and it was replaced quite quickly The Villa did not feel all that clean. The pool was not clean and was not cleaned once during our stay.the first day we had to ask for it to be serviced. We were disappointed to have to ask for clean towels on one day five times before we got given some. But no hand towel. The bath mat was replaced once during our stay of five nights after it looked very dirty and I asked. The chef makes very good pita bread humus and feta ! Delicious We were pretty disappointed with the standard of service for what has great potential to be an excellent resort

‘Potentially ‘ could be .. but sadly not one of the best! We arrived by private boat to the resorts own shoreline at destination to step into two used diapers/ dirty nappies and plastic bottles- what could be a stunning arrival - ruined! I only mention this as the shorter in stature of the 2 - I presume owners -was more interested in directing staff through mirrored sunglasses and jagged pointed fingers towards less helpful tasks rather than to a warmer and more ‘hygienic’ welcome. I realise that this may be a newer resort and as a designer ‘looked ‘ stunning but no wonder the staff seemed as if untrained, not knowledgable or have confidence in simple tasks. We had arrived early at 09.15 and was more than happy to wait for our agreed 11am check in- When we returned at 12 giving more turnaround time and not wanting to pressure Our room had been granted a late check out to previous guests Even though we had arrived! We chilled again and went back at 1 pm to be told room not ready or cleaned! This should have been prioritised Again … Shorter in height owner? still directing staff .. now to repotting small plants when villa guests sat waiting No hello or apology from him Small niggles - took 3 requests and a manager ( owners ?) authority to obtain a second room key . Towels smelled strongly of cleaning fluid ( not so eco ?) Housekeeping jammed our bathroom door after we left for the beach one morning for which we were wrongly blamed I’m sure and hope that with the guidance of the ‘taller’ more courteous and approachable owner - this resort will succeed - as it deserves it ! If nothing but for general lovely staff and location/ services that could be offered here Hopefully ‘Eco’ also means communication with guests as well as Mother Nature
