The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. Also seems very secure. Gabriel and Patricia at Reception were very helpful and accommodating. The food was good to very good, but varied from Service to Service. The first night we were served a lobster Thermidor, which was incredible, but on subsequent nights the lobsters seemed to be undersized and not quite up to the advertised 550gm. staff in the restaurant, particularly Emmanuel and Abdul were absolutely outstanding and made our visit to the restaurant a joy , The downside, the wine list is very limited and even so most nights at least half the white wines on the list were not available. This happened for about five nights in a row. It appears that nobody is keeping an eye on stock levels however the wines from South Africa were reasonably priced and when available very good. The rooftop is a perfect way to watch the sunset and relax at the end of the day with a cocktail. The only reason I’m rating the Hotel four stars is that it’s not a five star hotel and doesn’t pretend to be, but it is a very good four star hotel. I’d happily stay here again
