Mountain Retreat - A Hill Country Resort

We stayed here for 2 days . The location is excellent as we can see full ooty city from garden with a fog everywhere early morning. The room service was decent but on the 2nd day after room cleaning they didn't provided toiletries and when we asked on call they provided only soaps and also told us that you made hand towel very dirty. The breakfast has decent variety of items and taste was also good . The dinner was pay and eat but the menu contained very less options for veg and the prices where very high and food was not worth the price . Also as ooty is somewhat cold then other cities but they didn't provided proper heating system .

Our stay at Mountain Retreat, Ooty was fantastic! The staff, especially at the front desk and restaurant were incredibly friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. Our room was spacious, spotless, and the bed was super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. We loved the delicious breakfast buffet with so many fresh options and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The location was perfect, close to major landmarks of Ooty and Coonoor. The property it self have options for kid indoor and outdoor play area. The secure and safe environment of this hotel will always have my heart. Highly recommend for families/business travellers.

Our Stay in two bedroom cottage was an excellent experience. It was well maintained. Neat and tidy rooms & washrooms. Welcoming reception, tasty food, pleasant weather, overall great experience. Briefing of activities & timing will make the guest more comfortable ( Dinner time, camp fire etc)

We stayed at Mountain Retreat, Ooty from May 17th to 20th and had a truly relaxing and peaceful experience. The highlight of the stay was the stunning view of the Ketty Valley—absolutely breathtaking. In a hill station, choosing a valley-facing location makes all the difference, and this resort is perfectly situated to let you enjoy the natural beauty all around. The rooms and the resort were clean and well-kept, and the ambiance was calm and soothing. It’s an ideal place if you’re looking to unwind, disconnect, and just enjoy nature without the hustle of too many activities. The food was delicious, and the staff were extremely courteous and helpful, adding to the overall comfort of the stay. One small point to consider: since the resort is built on a mountain slope, there’s a bit of a walk from the parking area to the rooms, which might be slightly challenging for senior citizens. However, this is due to the natural hillside layout and is understandable. Overall, Mountain Retreat is a fantastic spot for a peaceful getaway in the lap of nature. Highly recommended!

I am having an amazing experience, eyerthing is best. property is in hills view is pretty cool. food is ok but kids area needs more games

Property is well maintained and the view was awesome. Staff were courteous and friendly. Food menu was limited but prepared fresh as per request. Breakfast spread was good too. Rooms were bit gloomy but all amenities are provided as mentioned. Location is also very good and less crowded. Overall, had a memorable stay at the resort.
