The Grange Hotel

Our stay at Hotel Grange, Coonoor Road, Ooty was truly wonderful and memorable. From the moment we arrived, we felt less like guests and more like family. The hospitality and care shown by the entire team made us feel completely at home. A special mention and heartfelt thanks to Ajay (manager), Poorni and Dharvesh, who were exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. Their warmth, politeness, and willingness to assist with every little request made a huge difference to our experience. Whether it was arranging tea, snacks, or attending immediately to any request we had, they were always ready with a smile and never made us feel hesitant to ask for anything. Ajay instantly arranged cabs, auto etc., whenever we requested. The staff's helpful nature, prompt service, and genuine care for guests really stood out. It is rare these days to find a place where people take such personal interest in making your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you, Hotel Grange team, for making our Ooty trip even more special. We would definitely love to visit again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay, budget friendly with amazing hospitality. The central location of this hotel inside the heart of the city is really wonderful. They have Junior kuppanna restaurant and many other restaurants are walkable distance from Hotel Grange. It's budget friendly and looks like a mini resort. Excellent rooms and wooden floors. The hotel is just adjacent to coonoor road starting point inside ooty city, but you will never feel like you are near a main road. It's very quiet and nice. The flower decorations were all very beautiful and well maintained ❤️

The room provided was not properly clean.. the wardrobe and other furniture was old and worn out in the name of heritage. We had issue with no supply of hot water😒 The location is close to main market and outside garden is good.

Its a very convient stay in the heart of city. Easy accessibility to all charring cross and commercial Street. Very affordable prices and very next to popular restaurant Junior kuppana. I would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap stay in the city. The staffs are very helpful as well

The location of property next to usually busy road to Connor. It has ample parking space ...There is one restaurant inside the property with Non veg speciality incase you are super hungry and want to give it a try. The room allocated to us was as per booking but there is a catch - they mentioned that the stay for kids is free but they still charged INR 500 per day towards extra bed....This is something very strange .The Reception manager was not found friendly towards the concerns reported as if he is least bothered. Even they charged extra for Heater 500 per day extra and that can be understood ...The rooms are more of heritage rooms with no AC or fans . The reception manager is not found at his place even when a call is made at 7 am . I would rate the overall family stay experience as Average

The Grange Hotel What are you expecting? If you want a good hotel room with good room service then no this place is not for that. If you are looking for a heritage kind of room and in the best location in Ooty then yes this place is good. We stayed for 2 nights and days in the room facing the parking :( with parking view instead of garden view. NOT Value for Money, we paid per night during Diwali holiday. Pros: The external look is like a typical old colonial British house with a well maintained garden. Good for heritage photography. Located in main city on the main road. - Bathroom looks fancy contemporary and clean Cons: -No room service - power cuts - no in house restaurant ( they have junior kuppanna, which is a separate entity in the campus but they don't deliver to the room and they don't have any snacks to deliver, it's typical authentic tamil kongu nadu cuisine - hot water was a big issue, it was after requesting that we got someone to repair and get hot water - Bedding is pretty average to low quality, not worth the price. - room is not maintained and not so clean and congested. Be clear that you won't get a typical hotel service and facility if you are visiting this hotel. You will only get fancy heritage look and great convenience location not a view location.

The stay was amazing and peaceful the staffs were soo helpful and polite the cottage vibe gives the whole ooty experience the food from the nearby restaurant was also delicious. Within the centre and shopping area. Neat and clean. Very friendly and cooperative staff. Good atmosphere and ambiance

Location is good but very average hotel in terms of interiors and service, except parking everything was ordinary, not suggested.
