Maistra Select Srebreno Villas

We have just returned from a lovely week’s holiday in Villas Srebreno with Jet 2 holidays. We had a gorgeous 2 bedroomed apartment in a villa with a lovely view of the sea and the gardens. Both bedrooms are en-suite and maid service every day with clean towels daily if needed which was fab. Guests can use the facilities next door at the posh Sheraton hotel for no extra cost which we thought was great! This includes the outdoor and indoor pools, sun-loungers round the pool and beach towels. Please note it does not include the Sheraton sunloungers on the beach, the apartment guests have to pay to rent them, they are only complementary for Sheraton hotel guests. Same with the spa. Check in and out is all done at the Sheraton and the staff are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble. We enjoyed hiring a paddle board (€15) and pedalo (€8) but next time we go definitely a jet ski! We also had a cloudy day which gave us a chance to take the short walk to the abandoned hotels of Kupari which is worth a visit for the urban explorers and doesn’t cost anything. In Srebreno there’s clean play areas for children in the park and nice places to eat, Vertigo and Supertar were our faves but we did venture into the Sheraton hotel restaurant a couple of times aswell. For anyone self catering, it can be difficult to find anywhere that does a decent cooked breakfast apart from the Sheraton but it can be costly to eat there (€24pp for buffet breakfast) and eating out in the evening we opted for mainly pizza and pasta as many meat and fish dishes were around €30pp in the local restaurants and for 3 of us it would have been really costly. The beach is beautiful with clear water but it’s stony so take beach shoes. Another point is that some of the apartments are directly over the restaurant Supertar and it would be noisy in the evening. We travelled with our daughter so we were glad to be in one of the apartments set back from the front. There is an abandoned hotel directly behind the apartments which we assumed was being renovated but we had no noise or disruption while we were there and it added to the character of the place. Overall, beautiful apartment and great location 20 mins from the airport in a classy, quiet and family friendly resort. We will be back again.

This is our 4th visit and we love this place. Staff all super friendly and the villas are beautiful. We will definitely be back next year. The villas have a great view and are close to the sea and all amenities that srebreno has to offer. Great spot for families and couples.

By far the best holiday we have ever had, the villas were lovely, so clean and in the perfect location, literally a few steps from the beach. Plenty of places to eat along the sea front and even a park for the kids. All staff very friendly and helpful. Great location to either get the boat taxi from the end of the dock or the bus at the end of the street which ran every half an hour. Beautiful views could not fault it

These apartments are in a great location, with stunning views. The area is so beautiful, verdant and clean. The local people are very friendly, and English is widely spoken. There are many local restaurants and shops (Sub city shopping centre 5/10 minute walk away has a supermarket). There are many transport options including buses, water taxis, taxis and Uber (which can be as cheap as the buses in some instances and definitely less crowded!) Dubrovnik airport is 20 minutes away by transfer. Must dos during your stay there are Dubrovnik Old Town, the City walls and the cable car to Mount Srd. Cavtat was beautiful (even in the rain). We did want to go to Lokrum island, but it was too windy for the boats to go during our stay. Kupari (ruined hotels from the Yugoslav war) is well worth a visit and only a short walk from Srebreno. Quite surreal and haunting. The apartments are very clean with daily maid service. Access to the adjacent Sheraton facilities is included in the price of the apartment. This includes a spa, indoor and outdoor pool and beach amenities. Towels are provided at the swimming pools. The apartment we stayed in was set back from the promenade in the landscaped garden and was accessed via a key carded gate. This had two large bedrooms with large ensuite bathrooms with showers in the bath and also a separate toilet. There was a lounge/dining area with a small kitchen and a spacious balcony. The kitchen was perfect for making breakfasts (two ring induction hob and a microwave). All staff we incredibly friendly and we look forward to returning in the future if we’re able to.

This is our last day here at the villas before we fly home tomorrow & wow what a fantastic place to stay, we’ll definitely be back! We’ve been spoilt in a large 2 bedroom apartment with beautiful views of the sea front from the large balcony. The apartments are modern & very clean, equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The maids have done an excellent job & the rooms were cleaned daily. The weather and surroundings are fantastic with plenty of choices for places to eat, drink and relax day and night, the pizzeria has been our favourite place to eat but one of the bars on the front does a mean BBQ chicken wing meal, all the bars have TVs to keep track of any sport. We used the facilities at the hotel during the day, the indoor pool was an added bonus for an early morning swim which we took advantage of most mornings. There were plenty of sun beds to choose from for a lazy day around the lovely outdoor pool to enjoy the sun and towels were complimentary. The bar staff in the main bar which we visited most days have been very accommodating & friendly, providing excellent service. Again everything at the hotel is very clean & modern, we didn’t have the dinner & breakfast package but did visit the restaurant in the hotel a couple of times and the food was lovely. Before we arrived we were notified by our tour operator that there was building work taking place near our apartments & on the beach which may cause some disruption, there has been no sign of building activity & we were not impacted by it at all while we were here. We used the water taxi to travel across to Dubrovnik which was very easy to do and a pleasant trip by boat. We also took advantage of the facilities down at the beach and hired a kayak and body board for a couple of hours, prices were reasonable & it made it an entertaining afternoon trying to stand on the body board. My only comment would be that there doesn’t seem to be anywhere to get breakfast if you didn’t fancy the buffet at the hotel & just wanted something lighter, a couple of places do croissants and cheese & ham toasties but if you fancied something lighter such as an omelette or eggs an toast there was nothing available other than the hotel buffet which can be pricy for a single meal. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and friendly place to visit you won’t be disappointed.

We booked a premium apartment for 6. We ended up staying in the grounds of the sheraton hotel, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. It wasn’t clear when I booked, but Villa srebreno guests can use the sheraton outdoor pool and sun beds free of charge ( it’s only the actual spa facilities that you pay for and breakfast, should you wish to take breakfast at the hotel). Our villa was really well equipped, we weren’t expecting full self catering facilities, and neither did we want that, but the sandwich toaster, microwave and two ring hob meant it was really nice to nip up to the cool ( air conditioning was great) apartment and make some lunch. Ubers make it really easy to get around, although we didn’t venture far as srebreno offered everything we wanted for a relaxing couple of days away.
