Avanti Hotel

Brilliant location near beach, bars restaurants and short walk to harbour. Staff are all lovely, polite friendly and helpful. The bedrooms are very well furnished, comfortable and cleaned daily, pool area and grounds are extremely well maintained. Plenty of choice at breakfast all in all we enjoyed every aspect of our stay here 5*.

Amazing hotel 2 minutes walk from the sea, very good food and fantastic staff especially Dimitria and her son. Facilities are better at avanti village site it felt more busy and organised so we ended up spending our mornings there , which is great as it is the same hotel however both pools are great! Definitely will be recommending this place to all friends . Rooms were very clean and housekeeping exceptionally friendly - I have been to many places but staff in this hotel was 5 *****

Nice hotel. Second visit to this family run hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms large and very clean. Pool area nice. Stayed half board, breakfast and evening meal. Food okay but not a wide variety for non- meat eaters at dinner but plenty of it choice for meat eaters and it was hot, buffet style, changes each evening for different theme. Breakfast with large variety of choice and omelette made while you wait. Rooms cleaned daily, and towels changed daily. Pool towels are provided free of charge, which was a pleasant change as some hotels do charge for them, can be changed as often as needed by the indoor pool. Lots of sun beds available as are chairs and umbrellas, always clean and well set out. Entertainment each evening and it as okay, if you want this, but we were happy enough in our group. Hotel had a welcome evening between six and thirty and seven with champagne, Buck’s Fizz, orange juice etc and tasty nibbles. This was nice as the owner mixed with the guests and made people feel welcome. Reception always helpful. Hotel is just outside the harbour, but is a lovely walk along the front to the harbour or can get a bus just outside the hotel, any bus journey is only two euros no matter the length of the journey. Would I go again? Yes, I’m booking again for next year.

Zoe the reception manager and her team made our stay extra special. Very friendly professional and courteous The hotel has a large pool and is very close to local restaurants and bars and only a short walk to the beach As a family run and oriented hotel it gives a very relaxed feel largely due to all the excellent staff who I can’t praise highly enough. We have just had a lovely holiday at the Avanti Hotel in Paphos. It's our second visit there and just as enjoyable as the first time. All the staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive. In particular we would like to say a big thank you to Renata, Zoe and Aish who all go the extra mile to make guests feel welcomed. The rooms are clean and spacious with lots of storage space. There is plenty of choice at breakfast. The buffet dinners are also very good, with lots of choice, well presented and very tasty. The hotel is about a 20 minute stroll to Paphos, along a pleasant promenade. But there are restaurants very close to the hotel if you want to eat out. We would definitely recommend the Avanti Hotel in Paphos.

I stayed at the Avanti hotel Paphos at the end of season. Very relaxing break, no pressure to join activities. Plenty of sunbeds, breakfast had plenty of choice and was lovely sitting outside on the verandah. Entertainment was very good although a little disappointed on saturday night which was quiet. Ash and Lucy, the entertainment team were great and always encouraging without being pushy. Particularly enjoyed the yoga sessions at 10.30am. The pool was warm and cleaned daily. The pool bar was a nice way to keep cool and drink. The pool bar manager was a little abrupt at times but the other staff were pleasant. Just a short walk to the beach and the hotel *****. Nice breeze on a very hot day. Short walk to the harbour and a good bar with shade to cool down. A bus stop outside the hotel to catch the 611 to the far end of the harbour for €1.50 each way or a €5 day ticket. Nice to visit some of the other hotels for a drink / cocktail. Trips available to the Troodos mountains and boat trips available. All in all a great place to unwind. Will definitely go back again.

Great hotel. Spotless. 27 degrees and really disappointed to be informed that the air conditioning is not turned on until 1st May! This is one of my key requirements when booking a hotel. This should be highlighted as the room info lists air con on website. Very hot and stuffy up on the 5th floor. When asked at reception about air con was told by receptionist '27 degrees isn't hot for us but it might be for you'. Hello, I'm the paying guest!? Not awarding 5 stars because of this.

We enjoyed our pre Easter and into April stay in sunny Cyprus. Nice welcome and refreshments at reception. There's a lovely warming lobby which has seating, a small shop and bar. The terrace extends to the well maintained gardens. Lifeguard attended pools and poolside bar. Aish did a superb job as entertainment manager / crew. Archery, waterpolo, darts and other events daily. I joined the stretch exercise classes with Lara in the mornings. There was a music quiz won by team Purton People, a very impressive 28/30, which could be a record for the new season. Our group of 6 had a great time, made better by the superb weather. In the words of Arny......I'll be back!

From Zoe on reception to Renata the restaurant manager and Sacha the waiter we were treated like family. The food is delicious with plenty choice and had a chance to thank the Chefs. The housemaid kept our room spotless with fresh towels everyday. All staff were very helpful and service with a smile. The pool and poolside were clean and tidy although wasn't brave enough to swim( cold) there were kids using the pool. Can't wait to go back
