Modern stay in a natural setting This gorgeous condo is situated in a new development surrounded by native flora and fauna -- quite the juxtaposition of modern architecture and conveniences in a jungle with howler monkeys eating berries from the trees just off the balcony and ant colonies on the move on the ground below. The location gives the feeling of peace and isolation but is convenient to so many activities, restaurants, and other amazing sites. Carlos, the host, was such a resource for local activities and other offerings and was super attentive to our needs as guests. He put us in touch with what ended up being some of our favorite tour guides on our entire Costa Rica trip. The apartment itself is quite comfortable and stylish and incredibly clean with a very nice mattress and bedding (We slept so well!), loads of storage, plenty of cleaning supplies, and a full-size washer/dryer combo. The kitchen is fully stocked with every appliance you would need for even a few weeks' stay. The air conditioner is the perfect size for the space, and there is an abundance of windows with screens, so it's easy to save some energy and let fresh and light air in. There are also blackout shades for those who would want more privacy and a darkened sleeping cave. With Carlos' attentiveness and the comfort we enjoyed, we will definitely be staying here next time we visit the area!
