Hotel Tirreno

В начале октября клиентурой были в основном пожилые люди из Германии, которые предоставляли все необходимые услуги: трансфер до обеда в Тропеа или на пляж весь день, на пляже места, зарезервированные для людей отеля, чилийцы, зонтики и полотенца. Комфортабельный номер с прекрасным дизайном, отличным постельным бельем, телевизором, кондиционером и Wi-Fi, с отдельной террасой, столом и стульями, чтобы наслаждаться отдыхом на свежем воздухе. Мой вид выходит на сад, из других номеров открывается вид на большой бассейн отеля. Завтрак "шведский стол" богат и свежими продуктами, каждый день небольшие изменения для пикантных блюд, чтобы не скучать, вы также можете есть под виноградными лозами на веранде, если летом. Персонал очень приятный, английский очень понятный, но сегодня с приложениями для перевода вы можете творить чудеса! В комнате 94 немного шумно снаружи, потому что мы рядом с насосной станцией, это тоже не слишком раздражает. С другой стороны, берегитесь комаров, даже в октябре не забудьте взять с собой эфирное масло лемонграсса. Пляж находится в 15 минутах ходьбы от отеля, самая трудная часть является нелегкая назад, но пляж Паргелии действительно красиво, по соседству Tropea и все можно сделать пешком (3 км), но вы должны подняться. В городе Паргелий (10 мин пешком) есть ресторан достойного Michelin под название «Il Portale» абсолютно необходим, морепродукты и рыба захватывающе свежий, не будет хватать на любой цене, их белые или красные пиццы полны местные ингредиенты, это очень здорово!

We stayed here for 2 weeks in June and had a lovely time. We have been to italy many times but not this part which was so unspoilt and not as touristy as other places. This hotel is about 1 mile from tropea downhill but is easily walked which we did everyday it was a bit of a struggle walking back up hill but only because of all he pizza and pasta we ate at lunch. The hotel does offer a free shuttle bus for guests. There is a nearby beach with complimentary sunbeds and parasol which was lovely. There's also a another beach in parghelia if you turn left out of hotel keep going left its a real gem there are quite a few steps down but it's worth it. We stayed half-board so had breakfast which had everything you could want plenty of fresh pastries, meats, cheeses, cereals and fruit. We had to choose what we wanted for dinner after breakfast which we did at reception every morning. There's a choice of 3 pastas 3 meat/fish sides and dessert which we never struggled to chose from infact we expected to eat out most nights but only did once the food was very good. The hotel has a lovely pool very picturesque and quiet it's truly an amazing hotel run by a lovely family who really look after you. we will definitely return .

The staff at Hotel Tirreno are simply the best! Stefania was available to answer questions, make suggestions as to what to see & do, and always with a lovely smile. Her brother was also very helpful and kind. The hotel is very well run, has a beautiful pool and very good restaurant. The free shuttle to the beach and into Tropea was a big plus.

Just the overall place, the staff, their helpfulness and, quite honestly, of in October, by way in contrast to the UK, the weather !! Its just a beautiful place, the area, the beaches, the sea, the town of Tropea and the hotel. If you get an opportunity, go 🇮🇹🥂

Very peaceful and welcoming hotel. Stefania and the team are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. The food of an evening is absolutely superb. Pool and beach club are great. Evening Trips to Tropea with Francesco are great. Love it. ..

One of the friendliest hotels we've stayed in. The owner Stefania worked very hard to meet the needs of all her clients. The staff always had a smile and time to provide information and basically just be nice. Comfortable room, kept extremely clean. A very quiet area and near to some lovely beaches and the main resort of Tropea - the latter a 30-40 minute walk away for the energetic, short taxi ride for others. The hotel offers a shuttle service in the evening. The hotel has its own reserved section of beach with really good sun loungers and parasols. It's only a 15-20 minute walk but the hotel has a regular shuttle service to this beach. The crystal clear water makes the beach excellent for swimming and snorkelling. Back at the hotel, there is a self-service breakfast with plenty of choice. Table-service excellent quality evening meal with reasonable portion sizes. An extensive wine list offering plenty of really good quality local Calabrian wines, all of which were new to us as they don't make it typically to UK shores. No car? With a nearby train station it's easy to travel to places like Scilla and Pizzo which are beautiful in their own right. Of course there's also the opportunity of trips to the aeolian islands including stromboli. We didn't do this as we'd done that trip from Sicily in the past. But on clear days you will be able to see stromboli on the horizon and witness some fabulous sunsets.

We spent a week in this wonderful hotel to celebrate my husbands 70th birthday. We travelled with TUI but I emailed the hotel beforehand to ask for an upgrade to a sea view room (at an additional cost). This room was so worth the extra cost. Stephanie allocated us room 216, considered the best room because of its fantastic view of Tropea, the sea and the pool. The sunsets from our balcony were incredible. The food at the hotel was excellent and so was the service. The pool is heated to a perfect temperature and very well maintained. We spent most days at the beautiful beach where the sea is the clearest sea I have ever been in. The hotel has a private section on the beach with comfortable sun beds and a lifeguard who is also part of the hotel staff. There is also a very good bar/restaurant at the back of the beach which serves excellent food. The owner of this restaurant is related to Stephanie at the hotel! The hotel has a pool bar which is also open in the evening. We enjoyed drinks after dinner in the bar where we met some of the other hotel guests. Leonardo is a wonderful barman, and waiter! Thank you Stephanie, Dario and all the staff for a brilliant holiday. I hope we can return again.

We stayed at this delightful family run hotel for a week in Sept. It was our 4th visit in 15 years (we have not returned anywhere else abroad, we are not the sort of people who go back to the same place as there are so many wonderful places in the world). Hotel Tirreno is an exception as it is so outstanding and Tropea is a relatively unknown italian gem. There have been a few changes over the years at the hotel and more are planned, with a new building going up (no building works going on while the hotel is open). The hotel has a large pool, deep enough to swim in and a bubble area too. This is a perfect place to relax after exploring the area or just topping up your tan, there are plenty of sun beds and pool towels provided. A pool bar has snack lunches as well as an impressive drinks menu. There is also a private beach a short walk away which has the most comfortable sun beds, the life guard also looks after hotel guests really well. The sea is the brightest turquoise and there are lots of fish to see even without snorkelling. The beach has a row of pebbles at the tideline so you may want beach/water shoes if you don’t like to walk on these. There were plenty of sun beds on the beach and space to move to be in the shade if preferred. We ate dinner at the hotel twice during our stay and the a le carte menu had local dishes and plenty of choice. The prices were in line with the better restaurants in Tropea. Meals were taken on a lovely terraced garden area. I am coeliac and need to have gluten free meals and this was easily accommodated at dinner. At breakfast the staff brought me additional GF products to supplement the cereal I had brought and there was a huge range of fruit, cold meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, tomatoes and usual breakfast goodies. Our room had a lovely sea view and was large with plenty of storage, the bed was so comfortable. The hotel has always been absolutely spotless and this was our experience again this time. There are some nice touches that have been lost at other places such as placing a sweet treat on the pillow and emptying the rubbish bin on an evening so you feel looked after. The hotel also has a free shuttle to and from the beach (the access is via quite a steep road but if you walk it helps burn off some calories from all the gelati ha ha) and in to town and return on an evening. One of the biggest attractions at the hotel is the staff (and family members who work along side the staff). Nothing is too much trouble, everyone is so friendly and professional. Some of the staff were there when we first visited which suggests the family looks after their staff as well as their guests. We were remembered by a number of the staff despite it being 5 years since our last visit and welcomed like old friends. We will return again in the future, I’m excited to see the new build.

Great location, five minutes walk to town of Parghelia, ten minutes walk to the famous Michelino beach, one of the best in the world (don't believe me, Google it). Twenty five minutes walk to the beautiful hill top town of Tropea (Calabria's jewel). Nothing else immediately outside the hotel except for a nice restaurant and other hotels. The staff are the friendliest we've ever encountered, the service is exceptional. The food for the evening meal was outstanding, restaurant quality and definitely not the usual buffet style or standard, it was far superior to anything we've had in over thirty years of going abroad. Pool was lovely with plenty of good quality sun beds with free towels, so relaxing and peaceful. Meal times again were relaxing and peaceful with waiter service in the evening, breakfast was buffet but still relaxing, no rush. Bed was comfortable, shower amazing, free safe and free aircon. First day we're shown to our room with everything explained. Parts of the grounds were boarded off for building work but no noise as work done during winter. This is rated as four star but this was better than any four star we've stayed at before. The location, food, staff, service and presentation were five star. All the staff were great but special thanks to Stephanie (manager) Leonardo and Daria.
