Residence du Pre

We stayed here for two nights in December, right after the stressful Eurostar strike resolved and we were luckily able to make it to Paris from London. This hotel was very accommodating as I had called the night before to ask them to hold the room in case we had to find other means of getting to Paris. When we arrived at the hotel, the daytime receptionist was very sympathetic with our situation of getting ripped off by the taxi drivers at the train station. She gave us helpful tips and advice for getting around Paris. We were a few hours early before check in but our room was ready after a few minutes’ wait in the lounge area. Our room was very clean, and we had searched every nook and cranny for signs of bed bugs and there were none! The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was an adequate size. The view off the balcony was like the movies and gave European vibes. We had an early check out and the nighttime receptionist was so nice as to help us reserve a taxi to the train station. Overall, we loved our stay in this hotel and would highly recommend it!

A wonderful hotel and more wonderful staff, everyone is helpful and kind.Clean rooms and pleasant breakfast.The Subway is close to the hotel and you have access to the sights. We will be back for sure.

Great hotel within walking distance of Gare du Nord. Really welcoming staff and good room. Location was everything and we were able to explore Paris on foot really easily from here. It was also really handily situations close to a couple of metro stations for us to get to Gare de Lyon to catch our onward trains. Hotel lift is a bit of an old fashioned one but it worked fine and was safe. Room was big and comfortable and the windows opened to give a lovely view on the street below.

From *******, ApplicationThis hotel offers parking availability, but there is no parking available at all, if you find a spot on the street, that's it. once I had my car Parked up front on the street at 2 am When we got there, the manager told us that we needed to move our car before 6 am or we will be fined by the city. But he also said to us that outsiders may break the windows in our car and steal if we had values inside the car. After those comments, my wife & I decided to run away from that scary place. Don't go there if you drive or if you don't. Also, the elevator fits only one person with one suitcase, it is so tyne. If you are sleeping on the 6th floor you have to walk up with your suitcases from 5th floor. It was our case. We decided to leave this place. The manager before letting us go, charged one more night after it was already paid for two nights via *******. We think Places like this should not be allowed to be in *******. Such a great Application should verify better before accepting places like this. We don't recommend this place at all. On top of that, if you have the chance to see a brochure of this hotel, like the ones they offer there, you may think that you will be getting to an excellent place. but believe us, this place is not.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They went over and beyond our expectation filling our special needs. The location was great, within short walking distance of several metro stations. We plan to stay there again on our next trip

The hotel is well placed for access to the Gare du Nord and local cafes and restaurants. The room was comfortable however there is minimal noise insulation between the rooms so that a noisy neighbour can cause problems.

We needed a hotel within walking distance of Gard du Nord train station. This hotel is very friendly with everything that you need. Check in and check out were quick. The room was very comfortable with a recently upgraded bathroom - it was located at the front of the hotel overlooking the cobbled street and beautiful buildings - which for some people may prove too noisy with the traffic if you prefer an open window - it was not a problem for us. Our room even had a window box full of Geraniums - so Paris! There are lots of small bars and restaurants within 3/4 minutes walk of the hotel - walking out of the City - this area had a real community feel overlooking a park. Breakfast was buffet style with a good choice of cereals - fruit - yoghurt - pastries etc. We found a few accommodation providers with the name du Pre along the route from the station - we attempted to check in to another one and saw a third along the road so make a note of the address!

Stayed here for 2 nights to explore Paris. We were extremely pleased with our choice of hotel. It was less than 10 mins walk from Gare du Nord Eurostar station and restaurants nearby and we walked to all the sights from the hotel. Rooms clean and staff very nice and helpful. Could leave luggage at hotel on last day which was amazing. We would stay there again as it's a good find. Our request for a room on top floor was given to us and we had a great room.

Very clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It's Paris, so small rooms, but very charming and well-kept.
