I recently had a delightful stay at Hotel Tentrem in Semarang, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome, and their attentiveness truly enhanced our experience. The cleanliness of the rooms and restrooms was impressive, which is always a top priority for me when traveling. The hotel amenities, including the gym, were excellent and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights for me was the delicious breakfast spread. The variety was fantastic, and the quality of the food was outstanding. I also want to give a special shoutout to Ibuk Elfi for her warm hospitality during breakfast. Her cheerful demeanor made our mornings even more enjoyable. As a coffee lover, I was particularly impressed by the skills of Mas Arafi, the barista. I thoroughly enjoyed the cappuccino, mocaccino, and café latte he prepared; each cup was a treat. His knowledge of coffee truly shines through in every sip. An experience worth coming for and coming back to. The Gumaya serves as a reminder of what quality service can become when great products are handled by great people. The rooftop bar offers exquisite views, and friendly staff tend to your every need. A staple since the early 2000s for families and solo travelers alike, the Gumaya evolved into a quality offering in a sea of competition for the best 5 star in Semarang. Clean and spacious rooms with a good view either side, tasteful decor, and a comfortable overall experience. Breakfast was Lucious and plentiful, easy parking, and central location to explore Semarang plus the added taxi convenience makes it an all rounder

Stayed for 2 nights in Room 703. ➕ Plus: • Great location, 7 mins to Simpang Lima and directly connected to Queen City Mall, which has many good restaurants and shops. • Good value for money considering the facilities and location in Semarang. • Complete in-room amenities: washing machine, large fridge, microwave, stove, plates, and cooking utensils, very convenient for family stays or longer visits. • Smooth check-in process, and no deposit required. ➖ Minus: • Electricity went on and off more than 8 times during my stay. The outage was short each time, but it disturbed our convenience, especially when charging devices. • A flying cockroach came out from the upper side of the wardrobe cupboard. I reported it to the staff. • Breakfast restaurant is quite small and often crowded, with limited menu choices. • Room is not soundproof, noise from the streets and the train can be clearly heard, even until midnight.

staff are all really nice. The room is clean but still have some water marks, probably because of the water quality here.

Good location, hotel a little old but clean. Complimentary mineral water is restricted to 2 bottles only with only basic in the bathroom (shpoo n shower gel plus tooth brush n tooth paste). Requested for ironing board and iron that took around 45 min n 1 reminder

This attention to detail extended to my room, which was impeccably clean. The sheets were crisp, the bathroom sparkled, and there wasn't a speck of dust anywhere. It's always a relief to know you're staying in a place that prioritizes hygiene, and this hotel clearly does. Beyond just cleanliness, the overall quality of the hotel was excellent. The decor was modern and tasteful, the furnishings were comfortable, and the amenities provided were thoughtful and well-chosen. Everything from the comfortable bed to the high-speed Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, contributing to a truly comfortable stay. What truly set this hotel apart was how easy everything was. Check-in was a breeze, navigating the hotel was intuitive, and all the services I needed were readily accessible. There were no confusing signs, no hidden fees, and no unnecessary complications. It felt like the hotel was designed with guest convenience in mind, allowing me to relax and enjoy my trip without any added stress. Last but certainly not least, the receptionist deserves special mention. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm. The check-in process was quick and efficient, and the receptionist was incredibly helpful in answering my questions about local attractions and dining options. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to go the extra mile made a fantastic first impression and continued throughout my stay whenever I interacted with the front desk. It's rare to encounter such genuinely helpful and pleasant staff, and it truly enhanced my experience. In conclusion, this hotel is a gem. If you're looking for a place that offers exceptional cleanliness, high quality, a seamless experience, and fantastic service from the moment you arrive, I wholeheartedly recommend it. The breakfast is horrible, bland porridge, only lettuce for the salad, there's pasta but its macaroni covered in small red sauce with no taste, tables doesnt get cleaned properly, 2 people on the egg corner only serving egg with salt, no toppings, no veggies, just pure egg + salt, main course got no variation, noodle rice 1 type of veg, a fish, and chicken. To access the restaurant you need to go through the pool, cool way of thinking, not practical when theres a lot of children playing with the water, parents and nannys sitting on the side.

Я также пожаловался, что ванная комната в нашем другом номере (я забронировал два номера) постоянно была затоплена водой. Когда мы вернулись в отель в 22:00, оказалось, что нашу ванную комнату не убирали, похоже, меняли только полотенца. Я увидел, что полотенце было рваным и выцветшим, а душевая всё ещё была затоплена, когда я принимал душ. После того, как я снова пожаловался администратору, пришёл техник, чтобы починить её, а в 23:15 пришла и горничная, чтобы убрать ванную комнату. 2. Утром 4-го дня мы также пожаловались администратору, что кондиционер в нашем номере 129 не охлаждает, но техник так и не пришёл. Мы не выдержали до трёх часов ночи, потому что в номере было очень жарко, и попросили поменять номер. Но администратор придумал кучу отговорок, и только в четыре утра нам предоставили другой номер. Это очень плохо, потому что мы не могли спать всю ночь с 31 декабря 2023 года по 4 утра 1 января 2024 года. В связи с этим я попросил отель вернуть нам деньги за четвёртые сутки, так как мы не могли нормально выспаться из-за плохого обслуживания.
