Lotus Nikko Hotel

Neat and clean, specious rooms. Possibly best hotel in Kushinagar. Food quality is very good and it’s like home.

We find the room with twin bed whereas we told that it's our honeymoon. No other guests was in the hotel but the bed was not ready. A towel was dirty in the bathroom, and when we arrived for dinner, a main part or the menu was not available. They served us something different from our order. The good point, after all these inconvenience they did their best to offer us the best breakfast as possible, the bathroom had ayurvedic shower gel and shampoo, and also 1 teeth and 1 shaver kit. Location is good between the stupa and the mahaparanirvana temple.

Nous avons demandé dans la matinée par téléphone s'il était possible de déjeuner a notre arrivée a 13:30. L'hôtel a accepté d'ouvrir le restaurant pour notre groupe de 12 personnes. Un repas habituel végétarien indien a été servi après une heure d'attente sous forme de buffet. Lorsque nous avons voulu payé il nous ont facturé 890 roupies soir le double du prix habituel pour ce type de repas dans les autres hôtels ! Après dures négociations ils ont accepté de baisser a 700 roupies ! L'argument était qu'ils étaient un hôtel étoilé et que c'était les tarifs dans cette catégorie d'hôtel. Les étoiles on les cherche encore entre la climatisation qui ne fonctionne pas, la télévision non plus et pas de chauffage en cette saison fraîche ! Si vous souhaitez séjourner dans cet hôtel, Pensez à négocier les tarifs avant votre arrivée car les prix ne sont pas affichés pas plus que la carte du restaurant !
