This was a rustic refurbished Hotel that has a great location in Pawhuska Oklahoma close to The Pioneer Woman stores and shops. That was the only reason we selected this property. There was no staff and no office. Reservations and questions were all handled over a phone number. Check in was tricky because we did not know their procedures. There were no perks or extras provided. Glad we brought extra blankets because it dropped down into the twenties that night.

Nothing good! Finding room and key a problem with no help (no lobby). WIFI & Cell coverage unacceptable. Hallways dirty. Had to climb outside stairs to confusing layout! Had to search for help, ended up asking a man in a shop downstairs for help. Not at all as represented!!!!

We were here one night and I can say it was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at, especially considering the price. It had no charm, no warmth, and didn't smell good. The floor is painted concrete with no floor rugs at all. The bathroom was dangerous because it was difficult to get into the tub, there was no bathmat in the tub, and there were inadequate handrails around the tub (additionally, the bathroom was small with barely any spaces for supplies, and a step up into the bathroom didn't help). For our stay, they provided a single bath towel, one hand towel, and one wash cloth; to be fair, the owner came with additional towels as well as a bath mat for the floor upon request and was apologetic. Unfortunately, the niceness didn't make up for the overall dingy appearance of the room, the uncomfortable chairs and poor excuse for a dining room table, the loud fan, the lack of a desk, the inconvenient access to the room (one-way gravel lot plus a narrow footbridge), the lock that clearly needs WD-40, and other unfavorable factors. There are no cheap motels in Pawhuska, with the nearest affordable choices being a half-hour away in Bartlesville. Perhaps you can get an Airbnb, or simply pay the extra money to stay at the Frontier Inn. Just don't stay here.

This hotel was certainly adequate but not what I would call nice. Room was very old, bed and pillows could have used updating but room was clean and serviceable. The check in was a little unusual but the gentleman was very helpful when I called.

We live in England and I was somewhat taken aback to begin with - couldn't find the actual entrance and enquired at the shop selling very expensive painting and clothes. The lady explained that the hotel was above the shop, accessed from the sidewalk using 22 concrete steps. Apparently she had to explain to guests on a daily basis so perhaps the Hotel owner should address this. However, there was a car park at the end of the block, just a dirt track to the back of the building with wooden steps. There is no Reception or staff. You have to go to the school desk in the hall, lift the lid and your key, attached to a spoon, will be in an envelope. The room was very clean, the kitchen stocked with china plates etc and cutlery (only one knife) . The floor was painted, curtains clipped together with bulldog clips above the heater. The beds were clean and very comfortable but the floor was painted concrete with one rug between the beds and the furniture was tin. The TV had a good picture, with mainly sport channels. It was an experience and we only stayed one night. Visited Pawhuska to see Ben Johnsons Museum and grave.

It was a girls weekend and this place was great! So retro, just loved it. The management was very nice and helpful. It was very clean and had all things you needed as it has a kitchenette, bathroom, bedroom and closet area. Very quiet so you could sleep peacefully, we couldn’t even hear the rain that night. Would highly recommend
