Rosetta Holiday Park

Lovely site, the grounds are very pretty with mature trees all around, good pitches not too close together. It’s mostly grass pitches but each with a slabbed area to set up your outside area. Really close to Peebles which is a lovely town with good cafes and restaurants. Well known for its lovely walks and biking trails. There is a well stocked Tesco less than 10 minutes away. Chap at checkin really friendly and helpful. I’m a bit confused by the negative reviews on the toilet/shower blocks, they are very clean and functional, no different to any standard site facilities, and there are a couple of them spaced around, so no more than a very quick walk from your pitch and not busy. Will definitely be back!

Booked a 1 night stay at Rosetta for my wife and I with our campervan. Have to say, we booked the park despite the recent reviews and were very happy with our stay. Wasn’t over booked like a lot of sites at this time of year, we had vacant pitches either side of us and lots of room. Grass was cut and we were lucky to have good weather. Showers and toilets are a little dated but they were spotless and the showers were ace, pressure was spot on and didn’t have to repeatedly press a button to keep the water coming. Lady at reception was really nice and helpful. It’s 10 min walk to town centre and in a really good location.

We visited this newly opened caravan park. The welcome was great from the staff and they were helpful. The site just reopened was in a lovely setting and 10/15min walk to Peebles. An effort has been made to try and tidy up site, however the toilets and showers were dated. Very very poor lighting at night in toilets also. Good warm water in showers with unlimited water was a plus. Expensive for the facilities. I’m sure once money has been spent by the owner, this could be a very successful and beautiful site.
