Hotel Villa Magus

We spent only one night in the hotel, which we chose because it is not far from Sofia but at the same time surrounded by greenery. The center of Sofia can actually be reached in thirty minutes by car. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are large and comfortable; our room had a stunning view towards the mountains to the south. Fantastic swimming pool, with an outdoor space next to it where you can relax in the sun. The restaurant is also excellent. I would definitely stay here again and recommend the hotel.

A very nice hotel, in a beautiful location. Clean, spacious, with a pool (& other facilities), and wonderful views from the room. Rich breakfast and tasty carefully done food with a lot of options to choose from. Lots of refined options at the bar, too. There is a small kids corner well equipped to keep them busy, for a while. + Helpful smiling people + Parking Do not miss the “magic” path through the woods, nearby!

Absolutely outstanding, I cannot praise Hotel Villa Magus highly enough! An exceedingly well-designed, modern hotel in a most wonderful setting just above the village of Kladnitsa. The views are simply stunning and the only sounds are birds and the occasional bark of a Roe Deer. All the staff were so friendly but a special mention must be made of Georgi the manager who was a font of knowledge on all aspects of Bulgarian culture and Michaela who looked after us so well in the restaurant from breakfast through to dinner! The rooms are incredibly spacious, tastefully decorated and with a lovely balcony area. We only availed ourselves of the swimming pool but all the facilities seemed of the highest quality including robes, towels etc. The restaurant was amazing, with a delightful selection of dishes to suit all tastes, served perfectly. A good selection of beverages too, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. I cannot think of a better way to 'recharge ones batteries' than a stay at Hotel Villa Magus!

A good location surrounded by beautiful scenery and a clean hotel. We generally enjoyed our stay, the included breakfast was good with the buffet refreshed frequently. Dinner was overpriced for the local market and several mistakes were made on our order. Other than this we were satisfied with our stay.

Villa Magus was serene, quiet and relaxing. My room, bathroom, balcony were all lovely. Particularly loved the swimming pool area; absolutely spotless. Area is beautiful and felt safe with mountain views, hiking, nearby sights. Taxi ride from Sofia was 45 Lev, also discovered that there is a regular bus from Kladnista. Staff were helpful and friendly. Some comfortable seating outside for the view, relaxation, or drinks would make this place perfect. Also, information in other languages would be much appreciated, even if just one kept at reception, bus schedules, nearby towns/sights, massage services etc. I have already recommended this hotel to all my friends.

It's a good hotel. I enjoyed it.
