Reception seems to be generally unattended, so if nobody is there head to the cafe to be checked in. Once you know that, it's a nice little hotel in a good location if you want to be around the Elizabeth Quay area.

The features listed on LastMinute included a indoor private spa. I booked the room based on this feature. Upon check in my partner and I discovered that there was only a shower in the bathropm and no spa. The hotel staff advised that Last Minute are responsible and not the hotel. They refused to refund the room and advised that if I did not wish to stay that I would have to seek compensation frpm Last Minute. I was apalled as the hotel had only just charged my CC through their eftpos machine 15 mins earlier!!!

The owner needs to check out maintenance.

An old hotel, quirky rooms with some old style features. We ate dinner in the bar/restaurant. Food was ok but nothing special, enjoyed the free glass of wine though.
A couple of negatives, cleaners bucket and rubbish left in the corridor and the reception desk was dusty, just feel that it could be a bit more welcoming.

Great location with a nice breakfast thrown in. The rooms could do with a bit of TLC, missing pictures off the walls with nails just there and the odd lightbulb not working make it feel less than lux but it is right on St Georges Terrace and easy to walk to shops etc. We've stayed there and used Wilson parking twice now, nightmare both times so probably best to try the convention centre one instead. Staff were really friendly and helpful on the plus side.

when we arrived there was a delay to check in as they had no housekeeping staff.
The staff member who did check us in later was abrupt and too interested in her upcoming holiday to explain much.
The suite was adequate but the bed/mattress was really soft; there was a duvet with no cover (instead 2 sheets, and the duvet itself was stained); the safe was broken and the toilet had no seat lid. With another staff member we we able to ‘manage’ the safe and we’re promised that a kid would be sorted the following day but after 5 days it still hadn’t been done. The room was never vacuumed and it didn’t seem like the communal areas were either.
Breakfast option for in house guests is poor and you have to pay for any extras you want.
The hotel seems to be more interested in the business it generates from workers in the cbd area after work hours until 8pm when everything closes for the night.

We liked the property and the decor was appropriate for the building. The decor in the room we stayed in is starting to look a little tired with wallpaper peeling off the walls. We booked a room with a queen bed but it was more like a double. Lovely bathroom but lighting could be improved.
We enjoyed a lovely lunch that was excellent value.

The Terrace Hotel rooms are amazing!
The rooms are well set out and the beds are extremely comfortable!
The bathrooms are brilliant and are just as they look in the photos.
The food in the restaurant was faultless and delicious!
Staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.
My only negative was the toiletries were not replaced and we were left with a half used portion of shampoo and shower gel from the previous customer.
Otherwise I would highly recommend staying here!
