Iraklis Hotel

From start to finish amazing. We were picked up from the airport by yakavos (James) and a brief 15 minutes later we were being greeted by the lovely Sonya his sister. The hotel is 2 star but the cleanliness and the hospitality a definite 5 star. Brilliant traditional breakfast ( amazing cheese and spinach borek ) along with fruits, eggs jams baked goods and yoghurts, ham and cheese etc. The beds were so comfortable and soft and the cleaner was in almost every day. Free bottled water was provided on arrival and leaving the hotel for the journey. The staff were so informative of the area and restaurants and the “four seasons” was a from fave. Massive portions and sooooo tasty. All in all if you want a quiet but memorable stay this hotel is the one for you. Preveza is a 10 minute journey away with a beautiful marina and lots of shops. ( no gift shops in Mytikas only 2 supermarkets and no atm machines but everywhere takes cards as well as cash ). Great Hotel, great family. Would deffo return if not only for the peace and tranquility. Go there! X

Traditional Greek Family run hotel looked just what I needed. There are 2 types of accommodation. In the old original building and the newly built accommodation. The cost was the same for both types of which I was not aware/ I was in the old type. Very old basic dated room.I was advised the hotel was full and I could not be moved The bed and pillows were rock hard. I woke every morning with back ache. The housekeeper ( who was lovely and efficient) managed to find me an old flat soft pillow and I used that with a beach towel. The shower unit was probably installed when the building was erected. Just a shower head at waist level, I had to hold it higher whilst showering. I was scared of falling. Water went all over the bathroom floor. The shower curtain was dirty and kept sticking to me. No bath mat in shower. The piping was visible, old and corroded in parts. The kitchen area was basic with very minimal equipment. Had a good fridge, hotplate and microwave but I did not use them. Air conditioning which I paid extra for was good. The TV in bedroom was small and I could not get to work, but as I couldn't bear to be in the room it didn't matter My balcony was good and a lot of the rooms overlooked the lovely pool area. Good outdoor dining, sitting and bar area The family and staff were lovely . Breakfast was poor. Evening meal was ok. Lovely bakery across the road. 10 Minutes walk to sea front. The saving grace was the good company of other guests who told me the new rooms were lovely My tip if you go ask for new accommodation

This is just a beautiful hotel with a wonderful family who run it. They couldn't do enough for us, individually prepared breakfasts each morning. They ordered takeaways for us in the evenings if we didn't want to go out. Rooms cleaned every day. They even have a car to hire out which we made lots of use of. There is a little private beach over the road or a bit further round the bay is a lovely long sandy beach. The room was very spacious with a balcony, it's a very quiet area so slept very well. We will certainly try and return again soon. A taxi from the airport is just over €30 but the hotel can also arrange a transfer for less so give them a quick call to arrange.

Sometimes the service that you get makes all the difference, and this was the case with this hotel. The owner Sonja was just fantastic - so friendly, full of excellent advice, and she even prepared especially for my vegan son a rich breakfast to meet his diet restrictions. We felt extremely welcome here and will gladly return.

Το ξενοδοχείο το τρέχει μια καταπληκτική οικογένεια που είναι πάντα διαθέσιμη να σας εξυπηρετήσει και ενδιαφέρεται για την καλοπέραση σας Είναι πολύ φιλικοί με τα μικρά παιδιά και τα κατοικίδια Φτιάχνουν οι ίδιοι το πρωινό το οποίο είναι πάντα πλούσιο με ελληνικά προϊόντα Διαθέτουν και ενοικιάζονταν αυτοκίνητα αλλά έρχονται και οι ίδιοι στο αεροδρόμιο για να σας παραλάβουν εάν συνεννοηθείτε Η πιο κοντινή παραλία είναι στα 3’ κι έχει ξαπλώστρες και ομπρέλες δωρεάν Παραδίπλα είναι και η διάσημη παραλία Μονολιθι με πολλά beach bars Το χωριό Μύτικας έχει φαρμακείο σούπερ μάρκετ και πολλά εστιατόρια Η Πρέβεζα είναι στα 10’ και είναι πανέμορφη Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα Σας ευχαριστούμε για όλα

Grazie a Sonia eJacob per la loro accoglienza..ottima colazione tradizionale...gentilissimi nel consigliarci i posti da non perdere...la mattina la sveglia è il canto del gallo...sempre attenti a qualsiasi esigenza dell' ospite! Ci torneremo volentieri!😍
