Alles war bestens, nur beim Einchecken mussten wir etwas warten und die Lage war nicht Optimal bis zur Stadtmitte.

Hotel Residenz Pforzheim + Price with breakfast Lobby: + Check in = Room was ready before 13:00 and we could check-in early + Friendly and helpful - Only 1 Key Card for 2 people Room: + Desk and 2x chairs + Suit case stand + Telephone + Closet with hangers but - small closet - No Safe - No Refrigerator - No Mini Bar - No iron or ironing board + TV = 29 channels mostly German channels but also others including BBC + Night Light between beds - Light was too bright to use at night and wake up partner - No Central room light - Atmosphere – View from room of Gas Station - Thin walls - I could hear people in hallway trough the door and could hear people in the next room through the walls + Carpeted Hallway +/- Except for the curtains the room was clean - Dirty Curtains + Curtains close completely + 1 Curtain to cover window and also let light in + Another curtain to cover window and block out light Bathroom: Towel rack behind door – must close the door to get to towels +/- Liquid Soap dispensers – but hard for older people to squeeze soap out Parking: + Great parking system + Direct elevator from parking garage to Hotel - cost 10 Euros per night Breakfast Buffet: + Included in price of room + Direct elevator or stairs to breakfast room on the 6th floor + Card System + Good selection of food for breakfast +/- Scramble hard eggs and not runny - but only warm not hot eggs + Mustard available on breakfast buffet Hotel: +/- The Restaurant not in hotel but next door + however there is s direct connection from hotel to Restaurant (Allegro) + Restaurant Allegro – Italian Food – Very good food and fair prices - No Swimming Pool in Hotel We would stay here again.

Generally a great stay but had a problem with the shower in the morning, which when i reported it, they just said ok, thank you. Anyway I did without the shower.

Unfortunately there is no room service. If you stay for several days that's very inconvinient

A nice room with a balcony that had everything one needed for an overnight stay.

The hotel is close to the autobahn (a few hundred metres) so convenient in that respect, but the area is modern business premises on the edge of town. A bus into town is easy (100metres walk each end, inexpensive, frequent). The hotel is large, modern, multifloored. There is a small bar in the hotel, but a larger bar is in the directly connected (but independent) Italian restaurant next door. The food and service in the restaurant was good. The service in the hotel was good, and the rooms were modern, clean and adequate. My only (minor) criticism was that the duvets were on the thin side for anyone who sleeps with a window open out of summer. Car parking in the basement was very convenient. Probably stay there again.

With a very helpful and friendly staff, this is a very comfortable hotel. I also appreciate the ability to use their laundry facilities while traveling.
