Avoid this place at all costs!! Their rooms are full of mold and disgusting smell will give you headaches and potential respiratory issues. Rooms are dirty and not cleaned in only God knows how long, you will find dirty paper towels with bunch of dust on it , toilet papers too and all areas are very dirty. They changed my room after I complained ( and maintenance guy came and confirmed ) that room is having disgusting mold smell but 2nd room was moldy too so in the middle of my vacation i had to search for another place to stay. Manager on the reception ( guy with glasses ) said that “******* is sometimes saying like they gave us a call but they don’t “ , in free translation they are putting ball in ******* court because they will steal your money ( like they stole mine ) and will not provide refund even though issue is in terrible condition of their stinky, dirty, moldy rooms. I left before using my remaining 4 nights and before i left i was told at the reception that “everything is settled with ******* “. When i left i contacted ******* about my refund and they said Mare Condo is not responding on their messages or emails. Free translation, when you walk out they will steal your money and forget about your refund. Don’t be fooled by pictures on website as reality is totally opposite. Neighborhood is noisy with people talking loudly till late morning hours and lots of stray dogs on the street. Overall avoid this place at any cost, these guys should be closed since they are scammers and liars that offer moldy, dirty rooms but advertise them in the opposite way.

Stayed at Mare Condo Vacacional in Playa del Carmen during the start of my solo trip as a quadriplegic traveler. I booked a one-bedroom suite, which said to come with a full kitchen which the only thing it was missing was an oven, a beautiful wraparound balcony, and a great central location just a short distance from 5th ave, with restaurants, and nightlife. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, which I appreciated. The suite itself was clean and spacious, and overall it had a nice, modern feel. However, there were some downsides that made the stay less ideal for someone in a wheelchair. The biggest issue was the bathroom—not accessible for someone with mobility limitations. Also, with the one bedroom the noise at night was quite noticeable, seemed like the seal on the massive windows weren’t great, barking dogs through out the night still noticeable with all doors and windows closed. I also didn’t get to enjoy the rooftop (and forgot to film it for my review!), but it looked nice from what I saw. If you don’t require full accessibility, this might be a solid option. But for wheelchair users, I’d recommend staying somewhere else like the second place I stayed, which was the Hyatt centric downtown house. Especially if you’re in a manual wheelchair, it’s a very steep ramp to get in the front lobby🙂 For a budget alternative I am still happy with my stay. And if they fixed the noise and the bathroom, I would definitely stay again. Full video on my YouTube channel Qwadsqwad

Excelente lugar. La ubicación está en un punto genial, cerca de la 5a. Avenida. Las instalaciones muy cómodas, el personal muy amable. Quedamos muy satisfechos. El lugar muy tranquilo y seguro. Incluye refri, cocina y lavadora lo cual me pareció excelente

El personal es muy amable. Los departamentos tienen lo necesario para tu estancia. El Pool área es muy bonita, vista parcial al mar. Cercano a lugares de interés y a la 5ta Avenida. Ubicado cerca de lo que dice que es la nueva 5ta, a algunas calles del área popular, pero cerca de playas muy bonitas. Lo recomiendo ampliamente. Puede tener algún detalle con la colonia donde está (que se ve fea), sin embargo, eso no está en manos del edificio, por lo tanto no puedo calificarlo con base a eso.

Mare condos Fue una buen elección es un lindo departamento, amplio, con un balcón extenso y buena ubicación; es excelente para estancias cortas como largas. Agradecemos la atención de Elisabeth y Jonatan que estuvieron a la disposición y muy atentos.
