Hotel Dieksee - Collection by Ligula

A few friends from Vancouver, Canada and Manchester, UK stayed here before travelling further north. Every room was excellently positioned to provide both a beautiful view of the lakeside and yet privacy too. The staff provided exceptional service, was always professional, friendly and attentive. And the food exquisitely seasoned. A comfortable and delightful stay - we will see you again!

This hotel is a bit old but we found it very charming. Our room (nr 55) was big enough for 3 persons and had Great view overklooking the sea. The breakfast was very Nice and the breakfast area was spacious. There was at least two elevators at this hotel. The hotel had a parking lot in the back charging 3 euros pr night. The spa area was very Nice. The Kids loved the pool and saunas.

Value for money at the lakeshore in Malente. A bit dated kurhotel back from some decades but clean and with fantastic views over the lake. Beds in room dated but ok. Nice restaurant with white linen table cloths. Food above average but not more. Will return if attractive price again.

Nice hotel with view to at fantastik lake. Lots of value for money. The staff was good and helpfull, and we liked our stay. We liked our stay, and We would recomend the hotel to friends and family without a doubt.

Hotel looks nice from the outside. A bit dated/tired on the inside. Staff is very friendly and helpful. During our stay there were mostly elderly as guests. Maybe it was the time of the year or because there was really not much to do around. We almost always had to drive at least 30 minutes to experience something. The town is small and only a handful of restaurants and even less places to sit outside and have a drink when the weather allows it. The location is great for this town, right at the edge of the lake. Great views. But it's not great if you like to have some things to do around because there just isn't any for younger generations in this town (we were a couple aged 34-39). This is not meant to be a bad review but feedback i've also given to the hotel itself: What we missed was information in the room about possibilities for room service. All hotels i've stayed in before would have a pamphlet in the room showing where to call for room service, what would be possible to order etc. There was no phone in the room. I would not mind using my mobile phone for it at all, but the issue was there was no information on how to get something like this done. I believe the booking service we used advertised the hotel also having roomservice, but i could not find the information during our stay. So when they add this information to the room this may be much better in the future and an easy fix for the hotel! The beds were amazing! Wifi is great throughout the premises and rooms. Parking was an additional charge at the time (3euro/day), but there is not a lot of parking space available on hotel grounds. Nearby street-parking is also 3euro/day and free at night. But needs getting out of bed early to put a parking permit in your car window if you don't go anywhere. The balcony (middle sized room) was great. The pool wasn't huge but pretty awesome and i've never seen more than 8 people at the same time in the pool area. Hence, plenty of place to swim. Opening times for the pool were also very generous (7-22). Restaurant/bar is a bit expensive, the food is great quality but sometimes the size of the dish is a bit on the small side.

Very comfortable rooms, and super staff, but the meat was not always very tender (Milchkalb should be very tender, but unfortunately a very sharp knife was needed) The rooms were well equipped, however, a Minibar/Fridge was not installed. We had expected that at this price range

Overall 4 out of 5 Clean and really spacious room. The bathroom is nicely equipped and really spacious as well. Not so far from the central station. People can have a nice walk to the city centre and also to the wildlife park. The hotel has a very wonderful swimming pool with facilities of Jacuzzi and Sauna. People will enjoy a short or may be weekend trip.

Stayed two nights with family. The hotel, so it seems, is living off it's past regarding its 4 stars. On my opinion, it is rather a solid 3-star hotel - with an excellent location and an excellent cuisine.

A very plain room, but a comfy bed and a good bathroom although paintwork had seen better days. Nice swimming pool but the handle was off the door to the steam room so one could not get in or out...at the price I expected a little more coziness.
