Very nice place to stay in and very nice people all the staff was so nice to us all the pool was always clean room got cleaned every morning always said good morning to us very helpful people we had no issues with it at all we would go back to it we got on with everyone there

This hotel is fantastic basic apartment but very clean pool 10/10 no deep end clean bedding and towels everyday ownes paboss and helena are lovely nothing not to much trouble like family very quiet location sadly beach closed but for 2euro get bus to coral bay sandy beautiful beach 50min bus ride threw villagers we worth the money avoid boat trips to blue lagoon waste of money if u want a traditional place for a holiday quiet and peaceful this is for u thanks to paboss abd and helena and staff for a wonderful stay hope to be bk one day debra and niclola room 205

The hotel itself was well presented in the communal areas although the one bedroom apartment that we had could definitely have done with some TLC. Everything worked, however, and the housekeeping staff were nice even if they did insist on coming at 9:15 in the morning for some reason. The bed was not particularly comfortable (quite hard and the sofa bed in the living room was very lumpy and tricky to get to sleep on. We only got one set of sheets when we arrived so we went downstairs to ask for some more and were handed some more sheets as we were on our way out. It would’ve been nice if they’ve taken them up to the room, but I understand if they were shortstaffed. We ordered a Keo beer and a gin and lemonade and were charged €12 even though looking at the prices on the menu we should’ve only been charged about €8. There was no atmosphere at all around the pool in fact the one time that we did attempt to go down and have a swim and a beer we were scowled at by the other holiday makers for talking. This is a hotel perfect for people that want to do absolutely nothing in silence. It was not the best choice of hotel for us. We also unfortunately did not find the staff overly friendly there was only one gentleman who spoke to us- he did not offer his name when we offered ours and the other staff barely acknowledged that we existed. We understand that it’s the end of the season and everybody is tired but felt more of an inconvenience than anything else. We probably would not return here, but I’m sure it has its place for some people.

Excellent budget hotel,, spotless clean,, not surprisingly most guests revisit. Good food,, good atmosphere,, we shall definitely recommend and return. Met many new friends,, big hi to George and Chris,, also Tommy and Lynn,, who have visited the mariella on many occasions,, says it all really.

Basic hotel but with all the facilities you need. Lovely couple who run the hotel do anything to help, which was great for this elderly solo female traveller. Very near town centre with super restaurants. I can recommend the Herb Garden and the Old Town restaurants. Bus to Latchi and Aphrodite’s beach was €2. Lots of repeat customers who stay for many weeks.

Great hotel right on the edge of the old town and just up the hill from the main supermarket. Rooms basic but clean and tidy. Nice bar area. Some sun lounger hogging going on but to be expected and not a great worry. Would definitely stay again some day.
