Excellent location, great service, and delicious food in this hotel!

The hotel has everything to be great but staff is not yet trained to deal with client. I had in this place the worst experience ever from the time I’ve arrived in the hotel. The receptionist was rude to me, we had to escalate the situation and then manager come to solve it but it totally messed our night with the reception misunderstanding.

這家酒店在中國遊客裏很不出名，我是偶然看到的，結果成了整個斯里蘭卡行程最驚喜的一家酒店！真的是小而精緻，所有的佈置都非常有格調，不愧曾經是英國女王下榻的酒店。其他地方不説，單説一個小細節，酒店在湖邊，野生動物猴子、松鼠這些也很多，但是真的一衹蚊子都沒有，坐在湖邊看日落極度愜意。就從這個細節就可見酒店管理真的下了功夫～唯一就是酒店wifi 長時間不用要重新登陸，有點麻煩，但是網速可以～

Отель расположен на берегу озера, вид из номеров на озеро. Брали три номера. Два огромного размера, один поменьше. Все сделано в колониальном стиле. Можно сделать красивые фото, а можно хорошо провести в них время. Европейский ресторан внутри. Завтрак хороший. Отличный сервис. Вокруг великолепная природа, озеро, джунгли, за забором отеля начинается огромный археологический парк.

We loved everything about the Ekho Lake House. We stayed in the Royal Suite which was so worth it! It came with a private garden area and a hot tub. The lake views were so beautiful and relaxing. Also, we really enjoyed the food at the restaurant. If you want to try authentic Sri Lankan food, you should get the Rice and Curry dish. The live music during dinner was a plus. The staff was so friendly and the service was superb. Don't miss out on the sunset boat tour. We got to see some breath taking views! Overall, the best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka. Can't wait to come back!.

Our stay at EKHO Lake House Polonnaruwa was nothing short of magical. The serene lake views and lush surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure all our needs were met. Highly recommended!

Great hotel with a great view on the lake (even from the small pool). Rooms luxurious and spacious. Location couldn’t be better for visiting Polonnaruwa, almost next to the museum entrance. Meals very well, nice staff. Loved this place. Highly recommended if you are looking for a luxurious place.

We wished that we stayed a couple more days .The Hotel is on a beautiful Manmade ancient lake bund overlooking a sea of freashwater and mountains on the background ! Rooms are well furbished .Toilets were super clean . The Restaurant had an awesome 180 degree view on the lake and the food was also amazing ! They cook some great Fushion food ! The Staff were super helpful and attentive to all details . Would stay there if we go that way again for sure !

We had one of the best hotel experiences at EKHO Lake House Polonnaruwa. The location was stunning with mesmerising view of Prakrama Samudraya resovoir and scenic sunsets. The ambiance of the hotel is so relaxing and the rooms were comfortable and well maintained. We felt like home with the kind and helpful hotel staff and special thanks should be given to Mr. Arun. The food was delicious with great presentation and variety. Polonnaruwa ancient city was at walking distance to the hotel and we had relaxing strolls to the archeological sites with ease. I yearn to visit this place again with my family. We highly recommend this place to both local and foriegn tourists.

I had an incredible stay at EKHO Lake House Polonnaruwa! The property is breathtaking, with beautiful views of the lake and a serene atmosphere that made our stay unforgettable. A special mention goes to Mr. Nuwan, the manager, and his fantastic team, who went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. Their warm hospitality, attention to detail, and personalized service truly made us feel at home. From the delicious food to the well-maintained facilities, everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious escape. We can’t wait to return!

We had a supper stay in the Ekho Lake House. We had rooms in the King Parakramabahu Wing - v spacious, clean and overlooked the lake. The pool was great for an evening dip and the terrace perfect for drinks watching the sunset across the lake. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful - well located for all that the area has to offer.

Service had been wonderful, the people there are just great Will choin that hotel again when we are back to Sri Lanka. Good Food, calm place, wonderful landscape Around the hotel are so many places to visit, it's just spectacular. Saw many Elephants out there. Wonderful experience.

The hotel is located on the banks of a large lake. It is nicely furnished and the room very comfortable. The dinner and breakfast were very good and the live music very enjoyable. The best part: the flight of many hundreds of flying foxes over the lake at sunset. We were mesmerized for over half an hour.
