B&B Pompei Olympus

This is a lovely property in a quiet residential area, just a 5 -10 minute walk from cafes, bars, shops, and the town centre, and also about 10 minutes from one of the Pompeii ruins entrances. The rooms and pretty, and cosy. There is a small fridge and a room safe, tea and coffee facilities, and we were welcomed with a little bottle of Prosecco. Francesco was very easy to contact by Whatsapp when he wasn't at the property and always replied quickly. He and his wife are lovely hosts. We have just returned from a lovely stay. The room was clean, tidy and welcoming, with a balcony, and a large shower room. The property is gated, so very safe and secure. The internet access was terrific, with access to Netflix where you can sign into your own account to watch programmes in English. There were lots of other channels but they were in Italian. There is a small communal area, adjoining the rooms, please be mindful of other guests as sound can travel. There was a key to get into the main building, then a fob to enter the B&B then another key for our room so we felt very safe. We definitely recommend it, and if we return to Pompeii in the future, then we would absolutely stay again, as we saw other hotels and B&B's that we had considered, that were in streets with lots of bars, restaurants,etc that would have been too noisy for us. There are no breakfast facilities, however Francesco supplied vouchers to a lovely cafe 5 minutes away 'Amato caffe' which supplied a drink and pastry each morning. The air conditioning was excellent, it worked well, and cooled quickly when we needed it. The bed was comfortable, and we slept so well throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our week long stay.

The B&B was perfect for our stay and also good value for money. It is in a quiet area but within easy walking distance of the Pompeii archaeological site, restaurants and railway station. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable and had everything we needed including a large and comfortable bed, good air conditioning, adjustable lighting, well-equipped bathroom, storage cupboard and a kettle and fridge, plus snacks and bottled water that were regularly replenished. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and it is clear that they value their guests. Francesco greeted us when we arrived and showed us how to use the various features of the accommodation (including the security gates), and he also recommended a local restaurant that was so good we visited five times in seven days! We also had daily vouchers for a drink and pastry at a local café in the mornings, as there are no breakfast facilities on site. One evening we had a minor issue with our shower not warming up properly but within just a few hours Francesco had organised a local plumber who identified the problem and replaced the boiler. Thank you Francesco and your wife for your kindness and attention to detail! We hope to return one day.

Great place to stay at, if you are visiting the ruins. Facility is close to both the train station and one of the entrances to the archeological park. Also very close to the city center with plenty of choices for food and drink, all in easy walking distance. Luxurious room, breakfast was off site, however, due to us being the only guests at that time?? Host also provided small snack and goodies for the room! Make sure yo use a Navigation system to get there, as there seem to be no street names in Pompeii, at least I could not find any signs.

Excellent B&B. Highly recommend this property. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Is very close to both the Pompei ruins and the train station, which makes it easy to get into Naples. Lots of restaurants and cafes within a 5 minutes walk.

Our hosts Francesco and Annamaria were brilliant. We had a tour of Pompeii planned so asked if we could drop our bags early and they were more than happy to accommodate. The room was lovely with a nice big shower and really comfy bed. There was tea and coffee making facilities, some toast with Nutella, honey and jam and they even left a gift of a little bottle of Prosecco and some lovely biscuits. The bathroom had a selection of complimentary toiletries and some complimentary water in the fridge! All lovely touches. The place is a short walk from the station and also a short walk from the entrance to Pompeii. Loved the location, the room and our hosts! Would 100% recommend!
