South Rising Guest House

It was the front room of a townhouse converted to a bnb so there were no thrills. The bathroom was ensuite and had free wifi which was not secure but did the job if you’re using other security measures. There was no do not disturb tag for the door and I think someone entered my room while I was still asleep.

Highly recommend Lovely room, nice simple but well stocked self service breakfast, comfy bed, very clean and tidy bathroom. My double room was a good size for me, and the location so near to Poole park is great.

Lovely break We were visiting Poole for 4 nights during June. When we arrived we were able to park on the forecourt which was very convenient. We were greeted by Caroline who was very welcoming. She explained everything that we might need to know about the hotel. Then she told us about the local area, buses etc. The hotel was very clean. There were little touches, such as large bottles of water and tissues, in the room. The cold breakfast was excellent

Comfortable and clean A comfortable and clean place to stay. Poole Park just a short walk away. Excellent help yourself breakfast in the form of fresh fruit and yougurt or cereal, toast and coffee. The downside is the front rooms suffer from traffic noise from the main road.

We have stayed previously with these wonderful hosts Caroline and Adrian. This time we had booked room only, however on arrival we were informed that a breakfast room with toaster, fridge, and microwave would be at our disposal and that bread, cerals, milk etc would be given to us free of charge. This is such a wonderful B & B the hosts always go the extra mile, for comfort, and cleanliness, they really care about their guests. Room 6 is my favourite room, I have seen complaints about road noise but we never notice it and even have the window open, rooms at the back of the house are available if you don't want to hear a car driving by!!! Really close to city centre, close to bus stop and reliable taxi service also available. Poole Park behind the B & B. Just perfect, yet again, great memories made.

A really great hotel. Wonderful hosts. Great selection for breakfast. Easy distance from the park and the Quays. Some lovely restaurants. La Lupe and the Custom House being just two. Very comfy bed and the amenities in room were excellent. Would definitely stay here again.
