Oceana Beach and Wildlife Reserve

We stayed at Oceana for 2 nights at the end of a 2 week South Africa holiday. Oceana has a beautiful location by the sea and is home to a nice nature reserve with zebras, giraffe, water buffalo,wildebeest,etc etc in residence. Beautiful accommodation, good food and a very welcoming staff.

An amazing resort and wild life reserve. Highly recommend Oceana Beach and Wildlife Reserve. The staff were all incredible, providing 100% 24/7 care day, night. This is the most wonderful place. Congratulations to all involved.

Extremely relaxing, brilliant food and service, fabulous ambience. Unfortunately, the weather didn't quite play along. The staff were professional and friendly, and the rooms were sumptuous with spectacular views.

WE had a great 3 nights at Oceana. Young staff were so helpful and friendly - thank you. We had a huge suite with a fantastic view to the ocean. Food was first class. We will definitely return in the future. We didn’t explore the area around ie Port Alfred - we just stayed in the hotel.

There for last few days of 2 weeks holiday to south Africa. Excellent resort - lovely accomodation, food and staff were very friendly and professional. Private beach was lovely. We didn't do the game drives but game visible from accomodation

An absolute divine experience from the arrival at Oceana, to breathtaking views, the exquisite food experience and spectacular rooms. This is the best Holiday experience we’ve had in years! I would recommend Oceana Wildlife Resort to anyone that is wanting an 5 star experience, we went for my birthday and it was just so phenomenal! The manager herself made the best hot chocolate we’ve ever had infused with Amarula. The food quality itself was really superb, the chef made me one of the best lamb shanks I’ve ever experienced, it brought me straight back to childhood memories of my Gran cooking in the kitchen. I thank her personally for such a great job done. We booked the Pool suite and it had such a spectacular view, we never wanted to leave, waking up to the heated pool in the morning to the beautiful showers that feels like rain on you, we can’t describe how impressed we are with this room! The game drive was very educational and spa treatment was so tranquil and felt so refreshed and relaxed after the soothing massage. We had a beautiful indoor breakfast the following morning after a truly indulging sleep experience on those beds with room climate control. We spent three days at this lovely luxury beach reserve with a 750 acre person game reserve featuring many antelope species but without any predators. Charming game drives in a relaxed environment with knowledgeable guides. The rooms are massive with separate his and hers bathrooms and a large terrace overlooking the sea. Food is excellent and staff friendly with very good service. Easily situated just off the main road and about a two hour drive from Port Elizabeth. Ideal for families.

The views and room design at Oceana can't be beaten, and make a couples stay conducive for romance/reconnection. For fit people, the wide and dune-filled beach is a haven to walk on. Small improvements could be made with the health-conscious in mind (more fresh (un-buttered) vegetables in the menu, and improvements in the gym) but I am splitting hairs here. It's pretty close to perfect.

Had a lovely time at Oceana with my family. The staff is very friendly . The place is absolutely amazing. Everything is of top notch quality. Had a lovely beach lunch that was set up by the team. I would recoomend Oceana Resort to anyone that is looking to have quality time with the family , relax and enjoy their delicious food.
