Puerto Azul Suite Hotel

We’ve just returned from our third year staying at the Puerto Azul with our little girl (now 4) and this time we brought granny with us too. Our 10-day stay was absolutely faultless and we are already planning to return next year for a fourth trip. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained with exceptional standards of cleanliness. Its location is also perfect - close to the beach and Pine Walk, as well as local shops for essentials, and set against a lovely mountain backdrop. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed our view over the poolside while my mother in law enjoyed a peaceful outlook to the mountains. The food was terrific - I think it’s even better than previous years, with a great selection of fresh food for all preferences. I noticed the lunch menu in the bar has been enhanced since our last stay also. Usually we eat out often because the local restaurants are so good, but we ate most our meals in the hotel this time as it suited my mother in law better, and we thoroughly enjoyed every meal. My main compliments are reserved for the staff - as always, we received wonderful service from everyone. The manageress in the restaurant was lovely and chatted with our little girl many times, as did many of the other waiting staff. The bar staff were equally fantastic but our highest praise goes to the Animation team! Rafa, Sven and the rest of the team make the poolside feel like a little community, with activities and quizzes throughout the day. There was a good range of entertainment (especially the Queen tribute act who were incredible!) and our wee girl will miss the Mini Disco! See you next year!!

We have just returned from a week at the hotel and it was fabulous! The location is great with just a couple of minute walk to the beach and some very nice restaurants. In the hotel the staff are very friendly and always on hand to help. The entertainment team are great and always have things going on for kids and adults. Water polo in the afternoon was a particular favourite! You can tell this place is special by how many families return. Although it was our first time we were made to feel very welcome by families that have been going for years and years! There is a good selection of food for both adults and children. The pool bar and lunch restaurant are very reasonably priced. Overall a great family hotel. In the summer holidays I would not go here as a couple but we are already looking to book for next year as our main family holiday!

Our 2nd visit to this hotel. Very family friendly, food amazing, rooms very clean. The entertainment team, Sven, Karen and Rafa were amazing, no pressure to join in but the kids loved everything. The blue vs red day was just great. My kids are both swimmers and even they were tempted out of the pool by other activities. Easy walk down to the beach and some lovely surrounding shops. Not far to the aqua park in alcudia. Also lovely market in pollensa. So much to do that we wished we had more than a week.

Lovely and clean hotel, with great friendly staff. The facilities for children are good with 3 levels of pool, a baby pool, toddler pool and main pool. The restaurant had engaging and happy staff with good food options, the buffet means it is easily available although starts at 7pm which was a little later for younger kids. Rooms were modern and clean, nice bathroom and balcony. A lovely hotel near the front of the pine walk, would highly recommend and return.

Don’t often post reviews but wanted to say how much we enjoyed the hotel and location. Nice big pool and 5 minutes walk to the beach. We went with our extended family and found the location ideal and the hotel staff really friendly and helpful. The food was really good quality, changed most nights for variety and was clearly labelled gluten free on the items (important as I am celiac). The pool bar was reasonably priced which makes a nice change. Entertainment at night was good also.

Worst holiday we have ever had. This hotel is not a four star hotel. Extremely rude member of staff on reception when we booked in. Thereon afterwards our whole experience at this hotel was dreadful. Overpriced for what they offer. Facilities, food & entertainment all two star. Adult only areas are a joke as children constantly used these areas. No staff to monitor areas. Finding the room wasn’t easy & again no staff around to help. Another guest at the hotel helped us with our cases as our floor was not accessible by lift. We were advised when we complained that it was a service lift! Terrible. We were offered an alternative room in the ground floor, which was absolutely disgusting. Our room was mediocre, the bathroom was terrible. Bad experience. Wouldn’t go back to that area either.
